We just had a late night stopover so didn't use the amenities. Room was small but quite adequate for one night. Breakfast had plenty of choice, cooked breakfast could have been a little warmer, and bacon was a bit chewy, it dries out a bit being kept warm.

Generally, had a lovely family break at this hotel. lovely and helpful staff, good variety of breakfast choices. No matter who you spoke too, night staff, day staff, staff at the fitness/spa centre, they were all very courteous and paid attention to our needs/queries and met them On discovering our room's air-condition was not working in the 1st night, they were apologetic and quickly got us fans that night as it past midnight and swapped our rooms early the next day. Kids enjoyed swimming while we enjoyed the hottub and sauna

From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Alice, the Duty Manager. She was lovely and as we'd arrived early, let the kids and I go swimming whilst we waited for our room to be ready. Simple touch but so effective as it got our stay and holiday to a great start. Pool staff were very friendly and helpful. Pool was warm and in the four times we swam, it wasnt busy. Cleaning staff were friendly as were the bar and waiting staff. A real gem of a hotel and staff they have here. Will definitely be coming back to stay in the summer and further down the line. Thank you to Alice and the team
