Beds were not made. All linen was left in a bag in living room. Large cockroach was found running through the house. Sand on 2nd floor. Old Cheetos were left on top of fridge.

We did not end up staying here. We ended up getting our money back- the place was a mess. The comforters on the bed were filthy and hadn’t been laundered, there were two dead “palmetto bugs,” there was dirty, crumbs, or dust covering the top of the bunk bed as if it hadn’t been cleaned or rented for months. The house smells musty. The biggest deal breakers were that they did not heat the pool which we paid extra for- they came and did it told us it would take three days to heat up… not okay and secondly- the big huge porch they claim you can grill out on and enjoy your coffee is an absolute disaster! You cannot use it- it’s a lawsuit waiting to happen. They sent a company out to “fix” the issues, we happened to be there and the company agreed- the entire deck needs to be replaced. It’s unsafe to walk on in spots, and also the railing that over looks the cold pool- moves about 6inches or more both ways. Someone could easily lean on it and it’s going to snap. Do not rent this place.

This was the 2nd year we stayed here . 7 adults toddler and an infant this year and we all love it . The private pool and hot tub allows us all to hangout without worrying about anyone being in the way. House has everything you need . Only wish the back had a privacy fence because people are always stopping and asking to swim and stuff,and that access to the pool was from the top deck and not just from the front. Minor wishes. Overall perfect for our family.

Totally Beachin…. And that’s what we did! We stayed a week at Totally Beachin with my husband and I and our kids (21 and boyfriend and 4 1/2 year old) and had a great week. The house was everything we wanted and more. The pool and hot tub are great and was an easy walk to the beach. We would do the beach in the morning and stroll back to the house in the afternoon for lunch and pool time. House was easy access to the food store and activities as well as venturing out. My daughter and her boyfriend did Charleston one day and we went to murrells inlet and surf side area to visit family.

With a little work would be a dream

We tried really hard to remain positive & enjoy this vacation, but ran into so many issues with this property. The property management company did try to deal with things in timely manners, but it seemed like they were not aware of a lot of issues. We paid extra to heat the pool/hot tub & unfortunately it wasn't working properly until over halfway through our stay. But it was WONDERFUL once it was! Also, the property rental company did compensate us for some of the heating costs because of this. The location is fantastic for accessing the beach & nearby playgrounds, but if you want privacy look elsewhere as it is directly across from a condo & people are often yelling down to you while you are enjoying the pool. I think this is just par for the course in such a busy area & since it wasn't peak season it really didn't bother us much. The house itself was beautiful & we wanted so badly to enjoy it with our kiddos, but clearly it is not being well taken care of. There was a recent leak in the roof leaving Sheetrock tape dangling from the ceiling, the water heater broke while we were there so between property management, the plumber & the pool people someone was always coming and going. None of the fan remotes had batteries, the TVs were difficult to figure out & the grill was not working. A small notebook with some information on how to work things & the pool would be so helpful. Lastly, my husband just informed me he killed SEVERAL cockroaches while we were there.
