This is the first time we stayed here since it’s been renovated.l, and was hoping for a better experience. It was just me and my 8 year old. Check in was quick and easy. We weren’t too impressed with the rooms. The rug didn’t appear vacuumed, there were a couple clumps of hair stuck on the rug, which stuck to my foot. We had a fruit fly that we couldn’t get rid of both nights. It drove us crazy. The shower had hair and dried conditioner stuck to the tiles, and to top it off I had to get out of the shower while drenched to get hand soap because the body wash and hair conditioner were both empty in the shower. For the money I paid, I expected better. I really don’t like to find hair all over the floor and in the showers. Not sure if I’ll give it another chance.

While there weren’t a ton of parking spots, the room was clean and the area was great. We definitely plan on returning.

Upon entering the room it was clear that someone had laid on one of the beds as both the comforter and pillow were crumpled, and the bedskirt was untucked and askew. Disturbing. We left for the evening and when we came back the entire room reeked of cigarette smoke. We are assuming it came from an adjoining room, but the smell kept us awake it was so strong. The “breakfast” that was included was a small gift bag with a frozen sandwich and some sort of side in it. We decided to pass on that. For $468.00 for ONE NIGHT, even during a holiday weekend, I expect much more! Needless to say I will not be returning.

Supposed to be smoke free room. However, neighbors had ashtray on their windowsill, my room smelled of smoke and marijuana. They tried to keep up but bathroom especially is a homeowner special and not professionally done. Missing board under sink, glue on tile floor, the tub is jetted (gross) but access panel was taped closed. Area is great so explored, lots of restaurants, only slept here. Wouldn’t return here.

The staff was very friendly the room was very clean in the renovations were very appealing. Also they had just opened the restaurant in the meal was very good service was excellent overall I would recommend this hotel.

We had big hopes for our stay for our anniversary evening - even paying for the room with the fireplace. We were quite disappointed. At the risk of being called one of those people, I am sharing the following with you: - It was unfortunate that there were no lamps on the bedside stands, so we had to get up to turn the lights on/off. - There was no clock in the room. - The walls are so thin that we could hear everything from both of the rooms on either side of us. - The refrigerator was so loud we had to unplug it. Because there was so much frost in the freezer we had to pack towels in the bottom to soak up the water. - The timer on the fireplace was so noisy we couldn't use it at bedtime. - There were people smoking on the 2nd floor porch beside our room, and an ash tray with cigarette butts sitting outside on top of the heating unit outside. - Our bed was only partially made. The fitted sheet was barely on the bed, and started coming off when we got in. The flat sheet was not pulled down to the end of the bed, let alone tucked in. - The bathroom floor was very sticky. No idea why. - There was also no instruction regarding check-out or what to do if there was a problem (such as late-night noisy neighbors), and no interaction at check-out (such as asking how the stay was, as we may have told them how poor it was, or offering the breakfast that was supposed to be available to us). - Last, but not least, the coffee was terrible :( Not what we were expecting at all :(

Stayed in an unattached unit in the back of the hotel. The room had a musty odor and had very little water pressure. I feel these units should not be rented as part of the hotel.

It was dark outside by the time we arrived to check in to this location and we had great difficulty finding it since the signage was not lit up. In addition, the free breakfast consisted of the receptionist grabbing either a breakfast sandwich for muffin and juice for you. This was totally inadequate and I consider this to be false advertising. We spent another $40 for breakfast. We saw other travelers running across the 4 lane road to get their breakfast at McDonalds. This is dangerous and unacceptable. We were very disappointed with both the terrible lighting at night and the basically nonexistent "Free Breakfast". We will not stay here again.
