The staff was really helpful, friendly and responsive.
The room was clean, bed comfortable, breakfast was ok. I did notice a smell in the room that usually comes from changing the room from smoking to non smoking, I think. It had a musty type smell just not a fresh clean smell which I would expect in a clean room. It was raining very heavily both days I was there which I assume was not helpful for moisture levels. Otherwise it is a nice enough place to stay in Cambridge.

This room was cleaner and nicer than I expected for this level of hotel. The last time I stayed in a place at this level, it was much more dated and dirty. This room was very clean and well kept with white, fluffy duvets on the beds and a flat screen tv. The free breakfast included scrambled eggs, sausage and waffles as well as toast, bagels and cold cereals and a selection of coffees and teas. I will put Grandstay on my list of places to consider in the future.
We just slept there after visiting relatives in Cambridge. We also had breakfast the next morning, which was great (I had the waffle, yummy and unexpected). Staff was great, very friendly and helpful.

Thank you for the review. I appreciate your feedback. I am sorry about the smell. Our rooms have been non smoking for almost 8 years and were recently renovated with new carpet and beds.
