Overall, a negative experience. The building is in horrible condition and falling apart. My room was furnished with items charity organizations would reject as unusable donations. The headboard above one of the beds had been ripped off exposing shattered drywall and screws, peeling wall-paper, a rocking toilet (hold on when seated), stairwell doors I though where locked, but just rusted together, the list could go on and on.

Nasty, dirty hotel ever had to get switched to another room and it was nasty the bathroom, the sheets, and the fridge was also nasty.Don't go there please

Woke up with bites all over my families bodies. Found two bedbugs, staff did nothing about it except said they will check it. In the meantime, I have a problem I'm bringing home. Water pressure bad, air conditioning not working well. High chlorine levels in pool and foggy. Disgusting! No one should ever go there.

Room was a non smoking but smelled like Ash tray , cleaness of hotel floors and hallway could be much better. Then elevator was out of service.

Lady checking is in was nice and quick. However two employees were fighting and took it outside when I arrived and the lady locked the door behind them. The pool looked clean however I didn't use it. The room had old everything. Old walls peeling paint, old furniture, old pillows and linens, old kitchen appliances old carpet and Tiny bathroom. Mold all over the bathroom. Mirror was dis colored. Double bed was super tiny.

The hotel staff was nice is all I can say about this place. There was no hair dryer or iron in the room. The room was pretty clean except the shower still had someone else's hair all over the wall. Honestly I think the hotel itself just old. It needs to be painted there were cracks everywhere it still has an old TV in it. But hey, it is very close to the beach. And the staff is very nice. So if none of that other stuff matters for you I would give it a go.

Not bad for the price. Good location. Room was kind of sparsely furnished. Could use modernization.

Terrible dirty and got bit by something. Not sure what

PRO: The suite was nice sized with a good kitchen. The sheets were clean and NO bed bugs. Comfortable couch/futon. Good location for the price. Staff was attentive to special and additional requests. Location provided easy access to beach and shops. CONS: There were fruit snacks under furniture that were there at check-in. The tub and bathroom needed a good scrubbing. Noisy during the night that was heard in the living room with the futon couch (bedroom area in back was quiet). Very skimpy continental breakfast.

MY EXPIRENCE AT THIS HOTEL WAS HORRIBLE. I WAS THERE IN APRIL OF THIS YEAR AND THEY HAD ALREADY TURNED OFF ALL OF THE HEAT IN THE ENTIRE HOTEL!!!!! WHEN I TALKED TO THE FRONT DESK, THEIR ONLY ANSWER WAS TO WANT TO CHARGE ME FOR EXTRA BLANKETS!!!! ALL WE COULD DO WAS KEEP SWEAT PANTS AND COATS ON EVEN TO SLEEP!!! THE OUTSIDE TEMPERTURE WAS ONLY IN THE 50'S. YOU COULD NOT EVEN ENJOY THE ROOM WHICH UNDER OTHER CONDITIONS WOULD HAVE BEEN NICE. IT TOTALLY RUINED OUR HONEYMOON!!!! WE HAD TO SPEND MOST OF OUR TIME IN THE LOCAL RESTUARANTS TO BE WARM. A HOTEL ON THE WATERFRONT SHOULD ALWAYS BE ABLE TO PROVIDE A BASIC NESSICITY SUCH AS HEAT!!!

We went to this hotel for a long Labor Day weekend. The location of the hotel is pretty good. You are about a block away from the beach which is nice because you can walk there. The actual hotel layout is not so good. The parking gargage is pretty bad. The design is very bad in certain areas and makes it hard to park/pull out and for more than one car to get in. There is a pool which seemed to be well kept. The continental breakfast is a joke, however. It was a few muffins and some mini donuts and coffee and hot water. Our room was not in the best condition. The entire room had the odor of urine, like it was not cleaned well before we entered. This would not go away either. The air in the room was bad because we woke up every morning with stuff noses which didnt subside till we left the room. I am trying to make this review unbiased but I would not reccommend this to anyone. We chose it last minute and for the price. All in all if its a last resort by all means go to do because there is a lot of stuff to do down there and not much time really needs to be spent in the room other than sleeping. But i would avoid if you can afford soemthing better and other places are available.

The hotel needs to update thier website because it is very misleading in a lot of ways. The front desk was very helpful. Ew i split some water on the tile in the "kitchenette" and when we wipped it up the towel we used turned black.. My suggestion to them is to CLEAN!!!!!! The hotel is in dire need of MAJOR maintainace and some serious cleaning! Overall aside from that we had a pretty good time, could of been better. Will not return to Roadway again unless they do some remodeling, maintaince or cleaning!

I was aspecting better service on breakfast

the beds were the only clean part in the entire place. the bathroom was absolutely disgusting with pubic hairs on the floor! the floor was so filthy i ended up cleaning it myself because i didn't want to catch something being in the room. The cleaning staff did not speak english so I couldn't even ask for more towels, not to mention the cleaning ladies walked in on my changing my clothes even though the DO NOT DISTURB sign was on the door! This place is filthy and I will never go back there again.

Front desk clerk was very rude at morning chevk out.

The motel was a quick walk to the beach. The room was not clean enough for kids, but would be perfect for a fraternity get-away. The carpets stain your socks when you walk on them. Scenic view of the beach's finest citizens gathering at the 7-11 at all hours of the night. The ceiling leaked and the room made you want to take a shower after taking a shower.

It was an OK room for 1 night. The rate was reasonable for what we got. - The AC was very close to one of the beds making it a little cold there. The room was clean the bathroom was suffering from some mold.

Everything was not so bad as it is written in other reviews. But the price does not correspond with hotel commodities. And bathroom was dirty.

By looking at the Photo I thought it was just on the beach but it is in the second raw. Environment was unclean - the lift was spilled with beers and other drinks. Room was however, relatively clean. Have kitchen but did not even have a pot to boil water for tea!

Dingy and smelly and damp. The bed was like a rock. The sofa in the living room was very uncomfortable. Hardly any outlets in the room. No windows in the bedroom. Had to have the door open to get internet access. Thank goodness we did not stay in the room at all during the day!
