Staff was realy friendly. Check in and check out quickly. Restaurant is more focused on asian customers. Room is clean. A lot of restaurants and shops around the hotel. Executive Lounge is nice and the staff frienly and helpfull.

There was a wedding party on our floor which made for a very loud and smoke-smelled Sunday morning. But the hotel restaurant on the 1st floor serves ice cream for breakfast! Skip the croissants and go straight to the waffles. Music at the breakfast room on the first floor is European/ North American indie. The music in the Executive Lounge is traditional Chinese; it becomes very grating after 5 minutes or so.

Excellent in all categories- greeting, room, food, business lounge, buffet to all the hotel management and individual workers- good job! Location is also a premier item, the park just across the street is perfect for early morning and morning walks-

Booked this hotel as close to where we have meeting. The reception is very kind and helpful, I think the software and training is upgraded. When get in to the nice room, it’s standard room but belongs some kind of nice or executive room. It’s spacey and looks very practical as well. Big shower room with shower and tank options. Individual toilet also sounds like a standard for business luxury hotel. Everything should have, it has as well. The most impressive thing is that when I need a lighter, they don’t have but provided matches. After few minutes of call to reception and a ring sounded, it’s a message from recording and said the delivery is arrived at door. So open the door and found a nice robot with touch screen and waiting for press the open door button. It opens the door of the robot and i saw the match is sitting in it. Took the matches and gave 5 stars of rating of course. After pressed the close door and it turn around and leave immediately with messages of appreciation. So touched. Impressed. It’s definitely a good hotel to choose when come again.

They upgrade our rooms to a very nice room and the main chef was so kind with us, and the reception manager Mr. Amin is super, he cares of us and guide us for everything especially the food incoordinate with the chef.Thank you so much for your fantastic hospitality.

All in all, the stay was good. I did not feeled that I'm a Silver Honor member. The breakfast is a bit unimaginative for a 5 star hotel. The cheese was not cooled, there is fish every day only smoked mackerel. No salmon or from time to time Shushi. The pool was definitely too cold, both the water and the air temperature.

I´m a Westerner and this hotel was awesome. Knowing Doubletrees from other parts of the world this was way over what this brand usually offers. Everything is new and fairly luxurious. Only downside: The check in staff was unfriendly and didnt accept my wife´s Chinese passport, which was an annoyance.

From the wait to check in, to having to speak to multiple people to order food only to have it arrive wrong. Typical of lower end hotels in China the room dining trays are missing salt and pepper, no ice in the glass. The rooms are nicely sized and clean. Everyone is trying very hard but they don’t serve foreign tourists as well as I wish they would. But the place looked pretty full without the foreigners so maybe they have already hit their sweet spot.

This is a great hotel option if you are in Beilun (Ningbo) because it is relatively new, spacious, well lite, well designed, and in a nice (but still developing location). Staff is friendly and helps to remedy problems. However, service throughout the hotel is slower than it needs to be, especially at the Chinese restaurant on the 2nd floor and the Beer Society "bar" on the 1st floor, and there are various things that could be done better. Hotel pool and exercise facilities are solid. Area around the hotel worth walking and hopefully will not be destroyed by overdevelopment. Transportation is very problematic--place is not close to train station, buses are infrequent, and there is no subway. If you are here, find time to visit JiuFeng Shan and hike for 3-4 hours. China Port Museum also decent if you are here.

I stayed for three nights on business. The staff was efficient and courteous, and facilities and room very clean and spacious, the price excellent. The decor is attractive and "business modern" without some of the gaudiness sometimes found in this region. The buffet dinner was excellent, and the breakfast was OK, tending to Chinese tastes. The western breakfast choices were not 5 star, but the quality was fine. Other restaurants, including western fast food, are within easy walking distance. Wifi consistent and strong.
