I stayed at NH Nice hotel for about 2 1/2 days. The staff was very welcoming and very helpful in getting me set in my room I did a last-minute booking but my room was ready the room was clean and it was pretty big considering other rooms that I had been in you could tell that The hotel was renovated it was not a bad renovation job the bathroom was nice it was clean it had a hair dryer and a plug and The toilet I believe was in the same bathroom there wasn't a separate bathroom the air conditioning definitely worked I kept it cool in there because after a long day walking I needed air ...you needed your pass key to get to your floor the top of the hotel had the bar and the pool it was a small area but a nice area I did have breakfast one time and it was a typical buffet breakfast and the staff in there was tentative hotel's location was not far from a lot of things I did walk about 10 to 15 minute walk to the beach and to the other popular destinations there are restaurants... at night I did go get some pizza and that neighborhood was a little suspect but I made it back to the hotel safely without anyone bothering me and I'm a single woman walking by myself I never felt unsafe in the area I took a cab to the airport which was about €40 and I Took a bus from the airport but I think I got off on the wrong stop because I ended up walking about 10 more minutes to get to the hotel but all in all it was nice it was comfortable. The train station is not far if you want to hit up Monaco Cannes or Antibes. The front desk Jenny I believe her name was she was there all the time I wonder if she ever stopped working but she was a hard worker she's very nice always greeted with a smile and I like the service they provided.
Location is a few tram stops away from the sea front. Slightly quieter too. Hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. Rooms were spacious and had everything one would need. Great small pool on the roof and bar. The bar is a expensive though. Its very quiet on the roof and we didn't see any children really in this hotel so probably ideal for couples. We did not eat in the hotel so couldn't comment on this. The tram stop was just across the square which was very handy. The train station too was less than 10 mins away so easy to hope on and go to Monaco and Cannes. If I come back to Nice without my children for a city break then I would definitely book here.
Given the tram station almost right in front of the hotel you can easily access the beach (4 tram stops, approximately 12 minues), the Old City and kids playgrounds (3 trams stops), the shopping street (5-6 tram stops). The Exhibition Center is in the neighbouring building, Carrefour Store (in a small Shopping center) is in 5 minutes walk, so as Laundry self-service. One restaurant in 1 minute and couple of fast food restaurants. The room cleaning level depends on shift, but all the rest is ok.
We have just had our son's wedding near Nice. We had around 65 guests from the UK at the wedding from our 'side' many of whom stayed, on our recommendation, at the NH Nice. The rooms and general facilities were excellent and the staff were extremely helpful. The hotel was priced reasonably, considering its location.
This is a lovely hotel for a reasonable price, great rooftop pool and lazy Sunday checkout at 3pm was brilliant. We were a group of 10 girls and had a great time thanks to the lovely staff. The junior suites had lots of room with a one massive bed and one double sofa bed. Thank you.
Stayed for two nights in a twin room with my daughter. The hotel is about 15 minutes from the airport which is ideal for a weekend break. The hotel is modern, clean and welcoming. All the staff were extremely pleasant and helpful, including in the rooftop bar. Our room was very nice with comfortable beds, plenty of wardrobe space and a great bathroom with a lovely rainfall shower. The rooftop pool and bar area is a real bonus. It is beautiful. The views are amazing and we had no problems finding sunbeds as people tend to come and go during the day. Pool towels are provided in the room. The hotel is situated on a busy road which was quite noisy but this didn't spoil our stay at all. It is a good 20 minute walk to the beach but there are lots of bars, restaurants and shops on the way. I had emailed a request for an early check in as our flight landed at 09.10am and when we arrived we only had to wait about 20 minutes and our room was ready. Very good start to our stay! All in all a very pleasant few days in a very nice hotel.
The employers of this hotel made my stay excellent! They are the nicest, most helpful and most professional, especially Mr Timo, the young Concierge. Thank you so much you're fantastic. The roof top bar is so beautiful for a sunset and it's very relaxing and blissful there...that is a must! I was sitting there every evening of my week that I have stayed there. The outdoor pool is also located there and nice too.
Excellent weeks holiday in this hotel, great location on tram line,15 euros for 7 day unlimited tram ticket, hotel is very clean and the staff are very helpful. Rooftop pool for cooling off after strolling the old town. Recommended.
Good hotel in great location. Very near to the tram stop where you could get to the Vieille Ville in 3 stops for 1.50 Euros - great way to get around. Also very near to train station - NIce Ricquier - which gets you to Monaco and Ventimiglia one way and Cannes and Antibes the other. The restaurant is open for breakfast but that's it, which is fine as there are enough, bars and restaurants where you can enjoy eating outdoors. Rooftop pool was great after a long hot day although the bar service was a little slow - and expensive. Jenny from Manchester at reception greeted us when we first arrived and gave us a very warm welcome. On Sundays, if you ask, you can get a very late check-out which is very useful. Think this is more of a business hotel, but perfectly fine to stay in as we were out most of the day,
I've just returned from a 3 night stay and was very satisfied with this hotel. The service from reception was excellent, with a particular mention to Jenny who looked after us incredibly well. The location is perfect for getting around - the tram stop is directly opposite the hotel so very easy to zip into the old town and Nice Riquier station is an 8-10 minute walk away, where there are regular trains to, amongst others, Monaco / Villefranche / Antibes / Cannes. The rooms are well appointed, clean and welcoming. The views are nothing special, but that wasn't an issue for me. The free tea/coffee from reception before 10am (11am at weekends) is a nice touch. Only slight blot was roof top bar (sporadic opening times / slow service / very expensive) but that didn't spoil things too much as there are lots of local bars / eateries that we could visit instead. Can't comment on the restaurant / food as we didn't eat in the hotel. Overall, this was a great hotel and I hope to return soon.
