We stayed here for two nights in December' 2017. The room were a little small but clean, comfortable and well equipped. The hotel is centrally located on the high street and about 10-15 mins walk to the promenade.
We had an Excellent stay the Hotel is Well located and rooms are OK and has an excellent Location The best Part of the Hotel is the Staff are Very Friendly and Helpful specially we did not Speak French and the Information they gave was great Help I would recommend your consider staying if you are visiting NICE
The hotel is very well located and the rooms are well equipped if you do not expect a dedicated working place So if you can manage to pick a good offer on prices it is recommendable - but beware the very standard breakfast may not be worth the money if you look for anything healthy or local dairy products (may not be a priority for the Japanese tourists!)
We stayed for 2 nights at the end of October. We stayed in a privilege room with a balcony. It was worth paying a little more for the room as we were able to relax and soak up the late afternoon sun and watch the world go by below. The hotel itself is modern, clean and centrally located. Although we didn't use the pool and din deck area it seemed to.be very popular. Breakfast was self service with plenty of choice. Hotel is centrally located and only a 10/15 minute walk to the promenade. We flew to Nice airport and caught the number 99 bus to the SNCF station which is about a 10 minute walk from the hotel. Would recommend a day trip to monaco on the train.
We were at the hotel for the Marathon , we were a group of friends and we enjoyed the hotel very much. It has been renovated in the public areas not long ago, and it has a very pleasant feel to it. What made the stay great was the welcome, especially at breakfast, the lady was friendly and welcoming. On top of that the breakfast buffet was nice. The location is ideal, overall a place to come back.
This hotel was amazing. It exceeded all my expectations. It's in a great location, right opposite the Notre Dame cathedral and is a 5-10 minute walk from the bus stop Gambatta which is on the route 23 from the airport or about a 10 minute walk to the train station. In the other direction I think it's probably about a 15 minute stroll to the Promenade des Anglais. Amazing. I was upgraded to a Privilege room which has a terrace that overlooked the cathedral which was not only a really lovely (and completely unexpected) surprise but the room was fabulous. Nice and spacious, super clean and all the amenities you need. Reception staff were fast and efficient and the breakfast staff were amazing. There was one lady whose name was something like Liane I believe but she was the main member of the team in the breakfast room each morning and she was fabulous. A real credit to the hotel. Breakfast was plentiful with lots of nice options. I absolutely loved it, would definitely stay here again.
We were here for five nights on our honeymoon and it was a lovely stay. The hotel was nice enough to give us an upgrade and when we got to our room, we were delighted to find a chilled bottle of champagne! Thank you! The room was amazing and the view was great. We loved the nespresso machine as well. The staff were all warm and helpful when we asked for advice and directions to Eze. He even printed out the return bus times for us. The hotel is in a great location - right in the heart of the mall. Be careful not to walk past ot though, as we did, as it's slightly around a corner and not street facing. The pool and deck was nice as well. Lovely hotel. We would stay here again if we're back in Nice.
Stayed here for 7 nights on an organised tour with Riviera travel. Hotel was a good base for getting about, we did organised bus trips most days so weren't around the hotel during the day, did not have a chance to use the rooftop pool. Our room was on the second floor looking out onto the garden, room was not very big and there was a lack of drawers to store clothes, there was only a shelf by the side of the bed and no bedside cabinet for storage. Room and bathroom was adequate. Used the lounge on the 8th floor most nights, again this was very compact. Had breakfast every day, this was strange, had most of the european foods like meats, bread and cheese but the only hot foods available were scrambled eggs, chipolata sausages and boiled potatoes??? There was a pot where you could boil your own eggs but they were taking around 15/20 minutes, found out on the last day you could request fried eggs, but there was no sign to tell you that. Plenty of shops and restaurants around the hotel and only a 15 minute walk to the promenade where there was a lot going on.
To be fair, the website tells you how big the room is. The bathroom was big enough but the sleeping quarters were snug. Don't expect huge wardrobes. But who cares? * we had a splendid terrace with furniture and great views over the city * the location is well-placed * there are three lifts so not much waiting * adequate number of power outlets * room keys worked every time (must be a first) * reception was immediately available * the staff were excellent Were I staying for more than a couple of nights/taking lots of luggage, I'd book a larger room - but for our purposes this was ideal. Thoroughly recommended.
Ideally situated as a ten minute walk to the train station and 15 minutes to old town and promenade. Difficult to fault hotel or staff and reception were very helpful in getting us a private taxi to the airport. Sky bar and rooftop sunbathing is lovely. Our only minor complaint is that there wasn’t any soya milk at breakfast. We did ask and was told there wasn’t any and that was that. This should be standard in a big hotel chain. Room was clean and comfortable overlooking the garden. Would stay here again.
