We were 3 nights at this hotel, very good price, nice location close to most of the things you want to visit and quiet ,very clean, and friendly staff.i will definitely recommend this hotel. Easy check in and check out.

This is a lovely hotel in a great location, everything was very clean, the bed was super comfortable and I slept extremely well. Being on the 3rd floor, there was a nice view from the window to the streets below or to watch the sun going down in the evening whilst sipping some French wine. The shower was great! I mostly used it at night and there was plenty of hot water, except for my last morning when it was warm but not as hot as it had been every other time. There are plenty of restaurants in the area that offer better value than the ones in the old town, (try M Pizza), also the nearby patisseries sell the most delectable goodies! There is a supermarket next door, and if you buy wine the hotel manager will open it for you (unless you are carrying your own corkscrew - which could be a good idea in France) Like many older buildings in Europe, there is no lift - which didn't bother me as I didn't have much luggage, but may be a consideration for other travellers.

Was able to leave luggage on checkout due to late flight and had a day trip to Monaco - wouldn't have wanted to do this if I had to drag hand luggage around with me. The hotel was OK and the bath was huge - it was a clean and comfortable room.

After reading the other reviews I felt comfortable booking...Do not I think the other reviews on here must be false as the reviews on the booking sites are terrible Terribly rude staff. Terrible Breakfast. Dirty Rooms. Uncomfortable beds This hotel is very run down and very basic. I don t know where the pictures are from on their site but its not the correct hotel The reception was closed on our arrival, very difficult to check in and find keys ourselves. No lifts and they stuck us on the top floor in an attic room, nothing like the pictures on etc. No room facilitates, ie, no tea coffee, hairdryer, no basic toiletries, not even soap. One of us decided to have breakfast the following morning (which, no surprise is terrible) only to be told the following morning in a busy lobby area while we were on our way out for the day that we were caught stealing from the breakfast room, we had not booked breakfast the night before but we had it anyway ( the night before when there was no one on reception to book it with, as we had to check in ourselves) . We were forced to pay this immediately as if we were thief's, I assume it was the owner and his wife shouting at us in french, terrible behaviour. I run a hotel myself and if I treated my guests this way my hotel would be empty, my advice to you is simply add on a breakfast charge to your guests bill if they do decide to have breakfast and charge them for it on check out along with all your other charges, city tax, guest tax etc etc. you should never make your guests feel so unwelcome and unwanted for no reason, or do not run a hotel. You were our first stop in France and left a very bitter taste for us ruining our stay in Nice

Stayed here for 6 nights and would definitely return. Nice and cozy hotel in a good location. Hotel is next to a Carrefour which is open until 22u and you can eat your food in the breakfast room or on the terras of the hotel. Helpful and friendly owner and personnel. The rooms aren't big but very clean and modern. They also have a very cute dog called Choupette!

Great location, away from the main spots but a good walking distance to everything. Check in was easy, the gentleman on the desk was very friendly and spoke good English. The room has recently been made over although the bathroom is small and slightly dated it has everything you need. No tea and coffee facilities in the room which would have made this hotel perfect. It has a safe, a small balcony, aircon, wifi, tv. The bed is comfy and clean. Breakfast is available for 8€ and has a range of bread, pastry, yoghurt, cereal, juice, coffee, cheese no fresh fruit which is a shame but there is still enough selection to see you through until lunch. We were on the second floor and the rooms are pretty quiet which is nice, could hear the odd person walking around on the floors above us but we slept well each night. Im Actually not sure if they already have this but if not the rooms could use either tinted windows or one of those curtains that still let light in over the window as the bathroom is quite small you can't really get changed in there and the apartments across the road look right into your window. All in all it was a lovely stay and I would definitely stay here again.

Couldn't believe our luck with this one, compared to other hotel prices this one was very reasonable and it turned out to be an absolute gem of a hotel! Really easy late check-in instructions, our room was a perfect size for a couple the bathroom was on the small size but not a problem, extremely clean room, comfy beds, aircon, lovely little balcony, 10/15 mins in all directions to old town, beach, new town and station. Fresh towels every day, breakfast can be included. The owner is very friendly and they have a lovely little dog that hangs out in reception :)

Nice hotel. It is in a perfect location close to the train station, bus stops, the old town and the beach. The hotel has a lovely roof terrace which is great to sit out on in the evenings, and you can borrow beach towels, mats and umbrellas which is really handy. Our room was very small and the air con didn't work very well. There are also a lot of stairs and no lift. All in all a lovely hotel, and would return here if staying in Nice again.

First visit to Nice and was important to find a good hotel. I always read the reviews and was happy with the Hotel Lepante. It was late when we arrived at the hotel but the mTan was waiting for us and explained everything to us is French but we understood. It was clean and the room met with out expectations with a good size bathroom with a shower soaps included. The room was basic it had no facilities to make tea or coffee which was a shame. The wi fi was good and free and each room had air conditioning. I asked for an extra pillow and one was brought straight away. The breakfast was included in our stay which was basic continental. Their was two types of cereal, hard boiled eggs, cheese, yougurts, crossants, and bread. Fruit juice and a coffee and hot water for tea. The first night we left the windows open and was awoken with rubbish trucks all through the night

Hotel is in a great location. 15 minutes brief walk to the train station. 15 minutes brief walk into Nice. Large room on the front of the hotel. Traffic and nearby school woke us before 9am (wasn't an issue as we were getting up at that time). I will stay again and recommend it to family and friends. Lovely friend staff. Clean :-) No kettle in the room for tea drinkers and chipped bowls at breakfast.
