The hotel is situated within great proximity to St Paul de Vence, 600 metres. Our room and bathroom which was a standard double was very spacious by French standards. It had a little balcony with views of the valley to the sea. The decor is traditional and the room was spotless. One of the most comfortable beds I have slept in with crisp white linen. The pool area is beautifully maintained and also has lovely views to the sea. There is ample free parking on site. The staff were friendly and helpful. There is no kettle facility in the room but room service was available for tea or coffee.
Very well run hotel , beautiful and tasteful rooms with picturesque landscaping all round the hotel. Housekeeping was outstanding. We (x4) had a wonderful 1week at Hameau in Sept. Will return and recommend this Hotel
great countryside ,cosy room with nice balcony,WiFi perfect,Television perfect most charming garden, lovely breakfast in the garden, large parking place for car, very near to the city of St.Paul de Vence
Unique location with great scenery and within walking distance to St Paul de Vence. It should win the Hotel de Charme award every year. The employees are very helpful and friendly and make the stay very enjoyable. I took a piece of le Hameau with me in my heart. I will be back !
Easy check in, friendly and English well spoken for us luddites that struggle abroad (sorry !) - great pool and plenty of sun. Room had a huge bath with shower over. Didn't take breakfast as we had pigged out the night before in the old town. Bit of a wobbly crooked walk back to the hotel as well !
My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at Le Hameau. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The grounds were wonderful, from the relaxing infinity pool with views of the countryside to the many plantings and pottery adorning the property. We enjoyed breakfast one morning outdoors on the patio, with a large selection of food, including breads, pastries, fruits, cereal, meats, eggs and much more. Although we had reserved one of the smaller rooms, storage space was adequate and the bathroom was quite large. We would definitely stay at Le Hameau again if we return to St. Paul.
A former farm turned boutique hotel is the perfect escape. Rooms are individual - a refreshing change from identikit chains, decorated tastefully with antique finds. Run by a lovely couple, you can switch off lazing by the pool in the beautiful gardens with panaromaic views. Breakfast sets you up for the day - homemade marmalade is the highlight. My second visit and I'm sure a third will happen. A walk away from St-Paul-de-Vence, it's an ideal base. My only grumble would be the balcony separated from the next door room only by wooden shutters.
The splendid position is only marred by the fact that the 900 m walk into St. Paul is via a very busy road, and not all of it had a pavement. The couple who manage the place are a delight, and make you very welcome
Lovely tranquil hotel within 10/ 15 (initially rather dangerous as no proper footpath) minutes walk of St Paul. Vibrant colours everywhere from the gardens to the buildings themselves. Our small double was indeed small but beautifully appointed. Breakfast was far too expensive at 15 euros EACH. Recommend the cafe in the square..
Set among bowers, vines, terraces, and gardens, this utterly beautiful hotel--within walking distance of the medieval village of Saint-Paul-de-Vence--is a vacation all by itself. Our room was small, but very comfortable and carefully decorated, to my mind, like the artist's garret I always wanted to inhabit. I love French breakfasts generally, but under the olive trees on the terrace of Le Hameau, every croissant, every egg, every cup of coffee tasted better than ever. The hotel has a pool, a jacuzzi, a sauna . . . even though the buildings and grounds by themselves are perfect enough for a traveler like me. A gem.
