We spent five days with friends at la Toile Blanche and enjoyed every moment, starting in the morning with excellent breakfast, being at the heated pool with our friends and their kids and enjoying the terrace and its comfortable seating. The rooms where we and our friends stayed in the main house are modern, clean and with art on the walls, we loved it. Driving distances: Next town is Saint-Paul-de-Vence 7 minutes, Nice airport 20-40 minutes depending on the traffic. Private parking. The owners, Leroy brothers + Caroline are the perfect hosts. Thank you again.
Perfect getaway with excellent food, perfect hosts and service. Beautiful garden with very nice pool. Enjoyed our beers at the bar while chatting with the 3 brothers who run the place. Will definitely be back!
Best vacation ever!!! We live in NYC with stressful jobs. I was in a desperate need of real vacation. And we scored big time. This place is an oasis of serenity and beauty. I was able to rejuvenate and get my energy back within a week. The hotel is welcoming, and super relaxing. Caroline and Leroy brothers will do their best to make you fill like home. They are the nicest most professional people possible. So, if you need food for your soul just please stay here. And the restaurant, it absolutely spectacular. Romantic, private relaxing setting by the pool. Superb food. Great wine selection. And dream service. In summary, this is a unique place, and we will go back. Thank you Leroy family for our beautiful vacation. See you again.
We spent four fantastic days at the picturesque Toile Blanche in early May. We stayed in La Cinq, a Junior Suite with Terrace, which was delightful - stylishly furnished and decorated with a lovely bathroom. In fact the whole hotel oozed class, much like its proprietors, Caroline and the Leroy Brothers. We had heard much about the restaurant, but unfortunately it was not open during our stay. However, it did serve breakfast, which was an assortment of pastries, cheeses, eggs and fresh tea and coffee. We were warmly greeted everyday, and very much felt at home. Knowing that we were vegetarians, our hosts were extremely helpful in suggesting good restaurants with decent veggie options, and they would happily make reservations on our behalf. We would highly recommend Toile Blanche to anyone travelling in and around the St.-Paul-de-Vence area.
Stayed 1 night at this wall enclosed 7 room hotel owned and operated by the 3 Leroy brothers and sister-in-law Caroline, each multi-lingual. Property is about a 10 minute ride to the walled city and is situated in the hills with a beautiful view of the sloping hillsides of St. Paul de Vence. The property is spacious with flowering bushes and fragrant fruit trees. The grounds are well manicured featuring sculptures and other art objects. Grounds are terraced in multiple layers, and there is a large pool with lounging chairs below the expansive outdoor terrace where meals and cocktails are served in the many shaded or sunny locations. The 4 of us enjoyed wine from Provence on the terrace followed by an delicious dinner. All this outside watching the sun setting in the hills. Breakfast in the shade on the terrace was also remarkable and memorable. The rooms are chic and modern, spacious in size with wonderful beds and large modern baths, great linens, towels and bath products. Multiple outlets, free wi fi, safes, HD tv are included and our 2 rooms had large terraces with garden views. Parking is included on site inside the walled gates. The excellent website allows you to preview and select a room or suite of your chosing. This is a very peaceful place I would describe as a paradise, but what really drives this perfect hideaway are the Leroy brothers and Caroline. Our only regret was not being able to stay longer! Merci beau coups Caroline, Gilles, Nicolas and Gregory!
Tranquil green luxurious setting, great atmosphere, superb food, excellent and helpful hosts - simply the best base to relax and visit the lovely village of Saint Paul (15 min walking) and the French Riviera.
Just outside St-Paul-de-Vence, this place oozes serenity. The grounds burst with various fruit trees and flowering shrubs and herbs. The chef uses local produce and only serves wines from Provence. We had an incredible meal sitting outdoors at a very comfortable table. The three course meals were extraordinary with some unique touches that made them extra special without being too strange. For example, we had chocolate mousse type dessert that had some olive oil and sea salt. An unexpected combination with sublime flavors. The rooms are very comfortable. The hotel is filled with unusual art. The family members that own/manage the hotel are extremely hospitable. Can't think of a way to improve the experience.
The weekend was perfect; from the hotel welcome; to the beautifully clean, luxurious and relaxing room; the grounds and terrace; to the bar and superb breakfast. Nothing was too much trouble! We'll be back!
Excellent facilities, perfect setting. Individually designed rooms showcasing exquisite art. A really warm welcome, an individual feel and a relaxing breakfast. Set in beautiful gardens in a really convenient location. Just 5 minutes away from the centre of St Paul De Vence. A perfect place for a perfect weekend.
My husband told me that I had outdone myself---saving the best for last---on our trip to Provence last week by booking two nights at Toile Blanche. But, it was not I who outdid myself, it was Caroline and the LeRoy Brothers. We travel extensively and have stayed at some of the most beautiful accommodations but Toile Blanche is by far and away the most discreet beauty in the world. Tastefully appointed manse details complimented by thought provoking art installations (even the lighting is an art installation). The guest house and rooms feels modern yet comfortable and oh, so, chic. And the property, so lush and perfectly groomed with a medieval hill town as its backdrop. Caroline and the LeRoys are amazing gracious, knowledgable and accommodating. Our only regret is that we had to leave. And our only joy is knowing we will return. Soon.
