This was our second time staying here and it lived up to our expectations of last time. Friendly and helpful staff, clean and comfortable rooms and in a great location. 5 mins from station and 10 from beach and old town. There's a lovely bar next door that does great food. Wouldn't stay anywhere else in Nice.
My family really enjoyed our four night stay at the Hotel Aria. The hotel is fairly close to the train station and overlooks a pleasant park. The room decor creates a nice atmosphere and the staff was friendly. Overall the Hotel Aria was an excellent value for the price.
We stayed at the Hotel Aria in Nice, France 2 nights recently. We had a lovely apartment for our family of 4, with one bedroom for me and my husband and a second bedroom for our sons. The bathroom in between was very roomy. Staff was knowledgeable and so friendly (even found a corkscrew to loan us). The decor of the hotel is beautiful! A wonderful eclectic mixture of French chateau with many contemporary touches! The presentation evoked a happy feeling just walking up the gorgeous staircase! The hotel is perfectly located to the beach and to many dining spots. Would definitely stay again if we are ever in Nice!
Positif: - Comfort and cleaned room. - cure view on the garden with small balcony - possibility to get iron and water cooker machines - Parking in front of hotel to book in advance. 13€/D - Hotel staff available and nice - easy to access to "old Nice" Negatif: - area a bit noisy
Was visiting for a wedding but wanted to be close by center of town at walking distance -10min to Place Massena-at affordable rate and this hotel fit it to a T Staff very pleasant and professional few languages spoken. Some rooms with view on park other back streets it had been recently renovated so very comfortable. A good value
We stayed on the 1st floor and had a room with veranda overlooking the park. When we arrived there were 3 problems with our room: the shelf in the bathroom fell off, the toilet cistern was leaking and the air conditioning didn't work. I reported these to the lady on the Reception Desk and they were all fixed promptly. However, during our stay a group of 2 women, 1 man and a child occupied the room next door and they were extremely noisey,i.e moving furniture, shouting and the child crying. On their first night they kept us awake until 5 a.m. and on the second the noise started at 5 a.m. After the first night we reported the problem to Reception but this had little effect as the noise continued on the second night.
This nice Nice hotel is "cozy", with a staff who does all what it takes to make your stay a positive one. The rooms are like most in Nice not of the largest ones, but spacious enough for a night or three. This was our second stay here, and we are very satisfied because everything is so clean. If you're interested in old elevators, this one is a must, probably more than a hundred years old. Across the street there is a Parking cellar, no need to search around in the streets. Hotel very much recommended.
This was our second stay at Hotel Aria. It's close to the train station(the Express bus from the airport goes there), and directly across from a park. Next door is a lovely little restaurant, with both indoor and outdoor tables. Short walk to the beach and shopping. We will stay there any time we have occasion to be in Nice. The desk staff, day and night, are fun and accommodating.
This hotels location was perfect for us, we flew into Nice airport & got the 99 express bus to the train station which is about a 5 minute walk from the hotel. The bus tickets were 6 euros each for a single trip. If you exit the airport terminal at exits marked A1/A2 you can purchase tickets from a booth immediately to your right & the bus stop in on platform 4 directly opposite the ticket booth. You can also purchase bus tickets from the driver but make sure you have correct money. Connie, the lady on reception, was very helpful & friendly, on check in she gave us a map showing the hotels location and also a list of about 20 restaurants also marked on the map - something for everyone and very useful when you've just arrived somewhere new. Our room (107) was a standard double room, it didn't overlook the park & it wasn't huge but plenty big enough for our two night stay. The room smelt fresh & clean, the white linen, my favourite as there's no hiding place with white linen was beautifully laundered & fresh. Although we didn't eat breakfast at the hotel the dining room did look very inviting, all we wanted was a coffee & croissant though so chose to use the little restaurant, 'L'Antica' next door. We were so impressed with the friendly service that we had our evening meal there too, steaks on a wood fired grill cooked in front of customers in the restaurant - yummy, the price wasn't bad either. The Promenade d'Anglais & Old Town was an easy 10 minute stroll from the hotel, we actually caught the 98 bus back to the airport from there, just in front of the Meridien Hotel, a more scenic route than the 99 but it took longer due to heavy traffic on the front. This hotel was perfect for us & I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it & would definitely use again when next in Nice.
Arrived to a warm welcome and helpful advice re Restaurants and sights. The superior room overlooking the park and mountains was on the small side but adequate. A lovely balcony with chairs and table perfect for catching some sun provided extra space. The room while generally clean had a few neglected areas eg skirting boards and behind the desk. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Although we didn`t have breakfast the dining room looked very inviting. Would we stay here again if in Nice : yes.
