Hotel Aria3.0 out of 5.0

Was upgraded from family room to suite for no reason at all, which was a nice surprise. The receptionist spoke perfect English probably an ex pat. Very helpful with guides on what to do. Breakfast was expensive so gave a miss 12 euros for an adult and 6 for a child. Otherwise nice hotel close to train station, mall and beach.
We spent a week in Aria hotel in October with my family of 5. We had a suite on the top floor with a nice view to the park in-front of the hotel. The hotel is in my opinion very well located in a quiet neighbourhood. It is a 5 minute walk to the main train station and also it is a 5-10 minute walk to the beach. A lot of nice cafes and restaurants close to the hotel so there is a lot to choose from. The room was clean and cleaned daily so no problems there. As we were on the top floor and we had the stroller for our youngest, then it was a little bit of a struggle getting the stroller in the elevator but we managed. The breakfast in the hotel is in my mind moderate, we ate there only once. We found a great small bakery just 2 blocks from the hotel which was amazing for breakfast.
This hotel was just what we required: laid back, stylish, not too posh and certainly better than average. Very clean, very comfy beds. We did not have the breakfast which we felt was rather expensive but there were places fairly close by to get a coffee and croissant. The location of the hotel is very good, being less than five minutes walk from the station and easy walking to the city centre. We had a room on the back of the hotel which was quiet. The garden in the square opposite the hotel would have made a good place to enjoy the sun if we had had time. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would visit again if we come back to Nice. Merci!
The hotel is very cute, in a building typical to the riviera. The staff is very helpful, and the rooms are clean. It is located in a neighborhood with shops and restaurants, and it's only 10 minutes walk to the Old City and the promenade.
We stayed in Aria hotel for a week at the end of September. I always choose hotels near the centre but not exactly, in quiet areas, and Aria was exactly that!!! Very near to the Promenade, but quiet away to have a neighborhood feeling!! Also very close to the railway station, which is very convenient for taking buses, trains... The lovely building faces a nice square where live ordinary people of Nice, not only tourists. The garden of the square is lovely, every morning you see the people talk, walk with their pets, doing tie-tshi, its very nice!!! The hotel has a very artistic feeling, with small pleasant details such as pictures at the stairs, lovely details to windows etc. The breakfast room (it costs extra) is fantastic- very well decorated, facing the square through big windows. The breakfast itself is a good continental breakfast- no scrabbled eggs and sausages , but it has all the necessary: cereals, milk, fruits, bread rolls, croissants (yamiii!!), yogurts, ham, cheese, boiled eggs etc, it was enough for us. Our room was spacious, facing the garden in the square which was great and with nice decoration. The bath was enormous for France!!! Very well equipped and plenty of space to put your things. The very old elevator adds to the lovely feeling, although is small, especially if you are American!!! The only small things for not giving 5, is that we could hear every step outside our room- but all of them!! The soundproof is not good enough!!! And another small detail- please add to the baths glasses, the plastic ones do not suit the charm of the hotel!! So, overall, I loved Aria, its a small, convenient, affordable artistic hotel with lots of charm!!! And the staff are all marvellous!! A very wise decision to stay there!!! a tip: I had read here, that it was possible to reserve a space for the car just outside the hotel for a good price (its very difficult to find free place in Nice, If possible..) and it was a wise decision to do so.. If you have a car, consider to pay the extra, because the parking in the square just opposite costs more..
The hotel is brightly and colourfully decorated. It's also clean and well maintained. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the A/C was effective (if a little noisy). Free kettle and security box. The hotel is about 10 minutes walk from the beach, and 5 minutes from the railway station. Set in a square with a park, it's in a pleasant location. The reception and the breakfast room are flooded with sunshine in the mornings. Breakfast is very fresh and continental and costs 12 euros each. Our room was a standard double, and great value for money. We intend booking again for the Spring.
We had a great time staying at this Hotel- we stayed there for 2 nights. Location- The hotel is located 5mins from the main Train station, the tram station is 5mins away located on a busy street full of branded stores and restaurants. The beach/ promenade is approx 10mins away from the Hotel. Reception- The staff is very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The gentleman at the reception (forgot his name) helped a great deal to locate a misplaced bag. They allowed us to keep our bags and freshen up when we reached there earlier than check-in time. Rooms- Are small but their layout is such that it does not cause any issue. For example the bathroom is located in a passage between the door and the main room. Having a balcony was a good choice to relax when we were not out. They are clean and spotless. The rooms have a nice look with the colorful wallpaper. Except a small TV and fridge there is no other amenity but given that one hardly stays in the room when in Nice I don't see this as an issue. Housekeeping is very good too. Bathroom- large and Clean. Breakfast- The options were not many but food served fresh and tasted good. Amenities nearby- There is no supermarket in the immediate vicinity. there are restaurants, mini markets, Tabacs some 5-6 minutes away from the hotel. Neighborhood- It is a residential area very safe and quiet at night. I would recommend this to anybody who wants a good place to rest after spending good time in the city.
We spent 2 nights at the hotel and found it to be a clean, a good value and conveniently located. The hotel staff was helpful and friendly, and also gave us bottled water when we arrived and when we went on our tour. Breakfast was sufficient and they provided an egg boiler so, if you wanted a boiled egg you could have one.
We stayed for three nights in early September. It was in easy walking distance from the station and situated only 8/10 minutes walk form the front and main shopping area. It was four floors high and, our room on the fourth floor, overlooked a small public garden opposite. It was a very clean hotel and the room was spacious. The breakfast room has great decor and a lovely ( optional) breakfast. The staff in reception were really helpful and good humoured. We would certainly stay again.
we stayed here for four nights in august and found the hotel great value for money.,hotel staff where polite and friendly and took time to tell us the best places to go in nice. the room are small but comfortable . my only compliant is that there was no tea and coffee in the room but you request a kettle. id use this hotel again
