The hotel is located in the middle of the center but for us that was not exactly a big plus. The noise coming through the windows is super loud (Russian Karaoké?). The room itself is okay and reasonably clean. There is a balcony to the room but it really is the smallest I have ever seen. The lady at the front of house was quite nice, the guys didn't even bother saying hi when we came in. Not memorable in any way...
I stayed there for 2 nights, the place is extremely clean and well maintained. The staff are some of the friendliest and most polite I have ever come accross. I travel ALOT and would definately reccomend this fine establishment to anyone coming to Nha Trang
Hello, my friend and I stayed here for 3 nights in early Aug during a two week trip to Vietnam. The Pavillon Hotel came recommended on Bookings.com and it was as described. The rooms are comfy, the location is great. They have a small pool and because it is shaded the water is actually pleasantly cool. The breakfast has enough options and is plentiful and tasty. While we were there I had a little problem and Michael the manager and Michael the front desk guy were extremely helpful and attentive when addressing my concern. Seriously I can't thank them enough for going above and beyond to make sure my issue was resolved and I was happy. All the staff here were great! The location is perfect as it is very close to the beach and shops and stores. There are safes in the room, the linens are decent, the shower pressure is good and the water is hot. We had a small balcony with a little view to the ocean. The only complaint I had is that the AC didn't really feel like it was working very well but as they also provide a fan it worked out ok. All in all this was a good stay and I would recommend this hotel if you are traveling to Nha Trang.
Nice hotel. Rooms were compact and clean. Staff were wonderful and were able to assist with any request. Lots of eateries, spas and shops right outside the hotel. Beach was a two minute walk. Close to night market.
The staff here are so kind! They will go out of there way to help you. Our bedroom was lovely, but it didn’t have the sea view we were hoping for (there’s a huge building right in front of the hotel). The location of the hotel is great! It has everything nearby. Unfortunately during our stay I became very unwell! We had to check out at 12, but I couldn’t leave the hotel as I was still being sick. The lovely receptionist Annie! She took me up to the staff room and let me sleep in there. She was so kind and made sure I was ok. She even offered to go to the shops for me. She is an asset to the hotel, I hope she gets some credit for her hard work! I would also like to thank the house keeping team for making our room look so special for our anniversary. It was made up with hundreds of real rose petals!! And even a bunch of roses for me! I would come back to this hotel in a heart beat!
I ended up arriving to Nha Trang at 4:30am, which really wasn’t planned. I wasn’t sure what to expect at the hotel when I turned up at 5am, but the door was open so I went in (a man was sleeping at reception) and sat down and waited. I think they took pity on me because I was allowed to check into my room at 8am, which was an absolute heaven sent. I loved the room, it was by far the best stay in my entire Vietnam trip. It had a little balcony, and although the window and balcony faced the hotel next door, the sea was visible inbetween the buildings. The bed was really comfortable, I loved the room. A/C worked fine, there were snacks available (for an extra fee), the bathroom was a lovely size and well equipped. The hotel is a short walk from the beach and a block away from many restaurants and small shops. Receptionists were very helpful, assisted me in booking my bus to Dalat. Wifi works really well throughout the hotel and breakfast was the best selection I’ve seen on my trip. I wish I could have stayed longer I really liked this hotel.
During our trip around SE Asia we stayed at quite a few hotels, this was by far the worst. I had heard that the hotel was located down an alley way, wasn't the most attractive start as the minibus from the airport couldn't get close. It was raining quite hard so we turned up in reception soaked. We were then greeted by the gentleman in reception who i'm almost convinced had had his personality removed at some point earlier on. We weren't shown to the room we were pointed in the direction of the lift. We got into the room ( we booked a Superior Double or Twin Room with Balcony) which was a laugh in itself. It was a twin, twin singles that were so hard we may as well have slept on the tiled floor. I have said in previous hotel reviews I don't knock a hotel for having a firm mattress as this is some peoples preference, but this was literally solid. The room seemed clean at least, the bathroom was ok. Certainly wasn't in for a shock that i'd built up for with the rest of the hotel so far. The balcony didn't seem as small as some of the other reviews on here but the view was directly across into the next hotel. Little bit awkward. There is no spa, don't get your hopes up there. The "Pool and Bar" area is a joke. 1 sunbed, a pool that no-one seemed to use and a bar....is a wooden bar/table. Not an actual bar you can buy drinks from. The noise during the night from the other residents was unbearable. So much so we didn't get much sleep (coupled with the uncomfortable beds) so we missed breakfast. Twice. When it came to checking out we were getting the train to Da Nang at 05:00 so we were up early. The staff were asleep in reception and weren't impressed at all that they had been woken up. Really poor service that. I work nights myself but work comes first before rest. He called us a taxi and then went back to sleep, leaving us stood in reception. The only good thing i can think of for this hotel is it is located near to the beach and a lot of restaurants. All-in-all I would NOT recommend this hotel. Pay a little extra and use the Novotel or Intercontinental around the corner, they looked really nice.
I had really high hopes for this hotel! It looked totally luxurious and well within our budget but was disappointing. The room was fine although they didn't have it ready for us and literally pushed two twin beds together to make the advertised double room.. it was also really small but I got one with a balcony which was a plus. Bathroom was standard if not slightly dirtier than I'm usually okay with but the deal breaker was the staff. As soon as we arrived we were met with confused and rude service with a HUGE language barrier with a few of the men at reception. Breakfast buffet was okay, nothing special and none of the food was stand out delicious! Best part overall was the location. Really close to the beach and convenient for restaurants, shops and sightseeing. We rented a motorcycle which was a bit more expensive than we're used to but it did the job. Not sure why in Vietnam it's common place to rent bikes with literally no petrol in them and broken fuel gauges and speedometers... but we survived! Would probably do a bit more research and find a better place if we came back to Nha Trang. Outdoor pool was freezing but had a decent view! Also despite paying a lot extra for a balcony room we were facing another hotel wall and couldn't see anything interesting at all!
If i could give this place a no star i would- we checked in late afternoon the first night, small, pocky room with no hot or even warm water for that matter. The bed & pillows were hard. The 2 girls on the breakfast counter were moody and rude & looked grumpy when i asked for an egg. The breakfast was half cooked and disgusting that all i ended up having was a juice. The next afternoon when we arrived back from a day trip we asked for 2 extra pillows and were told 'no, cant, only housekeeping', i asked if i could call housekeeping to get more pilllows and again was told 'no' (great customer service- not!), we went up to our room to find the aircon no longer working. My husband went down to reception to let them know & got no answer when he told them, the receptionist got up from the desk & went & got someone to look at the aircon which they couldnt get going again. We were offered a fan and half our money back for the one night- (sorry but in 27 degree heat a fan wasnt going to cut it!) We cut our losses & checked out at 7.40pm & when we told the man at reception were checking out he rolled his eyes, sighed and proceeded to find our passports. We thankfully found a lovely hotel in close proximity who were more than happy to accomodate us. The Pavillon is TERRIBLE & how theyr still in business is beyond me. Save yourself the hassle and check into Maple Hotel (just behind Pavillon and 1000x better with lovely, helpful staff that speak good english, comfortable spacious rooms, lovely pool and resteraunt and EXTRA pillows).
The position of hotel is good, 5 mins walk to beach. I found the staff very helpful and friendly. The breakfast in morning was good, decent selection, good valu. The pool is fairly small and doesn’t get sun for very long. The small restaurants in the street where hotel is were good value and although basic the food was good.
