Nez Perce National Forest Vacation Packages

It’s about 2 steps above an hourly motel. Most of the occupants looked like individuals just getting by… with all their belongings in their vehicles and in front of the motel doors. I had to sign additional forms regarding deep fat fryers, cooking supplies, pets and daily inspections. The room we stayed in was just renovated and was nice and comfortable but they were out of soap so they gave us shampoo to wash our hands. They tried…and everything else was sold out in the area because of graduation from the university which is why we were in the area.

Made my reservation 6 weeks before traveling. When we got there to register, the manager had canceled our reservation. The front desk person got us another room. There were bugs flying out of the sink. My husband got up in the middle of the night and stepped on an earth worm ( we had a door to the outside patio, but did not got out there during our stay. Upon check out, I checked my credit card. My booked stay should have be approximately $260, however my card was charged $798.00 for 2 days! When I called to inquire, the "manager" blamed no payment information came thru to save the room, so the charged is the current room rate. Interesting how they "didn't get my credit card information", never took my card at check-in. And were still able to charge $798 upon us leaving. When I called for a refund, I only received 50% of the overcharge refunded, which had not come thru in my credit card yet. I guess we'll see.

We were in town for a wedding, overall it was a fine experience. My husband went outside to smoke and a gentleman at the desk on the night shift was somewhat rude when he entered and didn’t realize he needed his room key for the second door. He was abrasive to my husband however said nothing to a group of girls walking in behind him. Anyway not a great look and could use some coaching on speaking with guests and being helpful instead of abrasive
