Communication was great. Check in and check out were simple. Location being only miles from downtown while also being secluded to a beautiful view of a lake was great. Group of 7 of us stayed for a ski weekend at Jay peak, only a 30ish minute drive. House was cozy and had everything you needed. Snowed one day and when we got back from skiing everything was plowed. Just an overall great stay and would go back any time.

Gorgeous and homey

It was beautiful, cool and roomy. We felt like we were at home and it was incredibly clean and well-appointed. The view of the lake was gorgeous and it was so quiet and breezy.

South Bay getaway!!

This was our second year staying at this property and it was again a fantastic experience. The home is clean, comfortable and great for families or friends. The property and location are excellent with lake views and access, scenic background and very private. Check in and out is a breeze, we will definitely be returning again!!

Memphremagog Winter Swim Festival

A group of 6 of us stayed at the farmhouse for the winter swim fest in town. It was the perfect spot - lovely home, kitchen with everything that we needed, and many thoughtful touches around the home. Owner was easy to communicate with and accommodating. Would definitely stay again.

Once again fantastic

This is the second time staying at the house, the first time was in the summer, now in the heart of winter. Conveniently located near town, but far enough away to make you feel that you have gotten away. The house has everything you need to relax after a day of activities in the Northeast Kingdom.

Beautiful farmhouse on lake

This was just the getaway we needed. Though we only live 2.5 hours away we felt like we were in another world. The house is well maintained, clean, surrounded by nature and fully outfitted for guests. Lake access for our canoe was perfect. The owner was an outstanding host. We would come again!

A piece of paradise

We throughly enjoyed our stay here. Plenty of room for everyone and a great view of the lake. Really enjoyed the firepit and the supply of wood, enough for 2 good fires. The screened porch was fantastic for hanging out and was a focal point of the stay. It was a wonderful mini vacation for our family and we will be back in the future. Thank you Yvette for your hospitality.

Wonderful vacation stay. Everything you would want for a relaxing time. Enough bedrooms & privacy for our crew and very comfortable King bed where we slept. The air conditioner was a nice upgrade over the previous summer. The lake was great for paddle boarding and the view was relaxing. Until the next time...

Peaceful getaway

We stayed for a week-long getaway. Best parts were watching the stars at night by the fire pit, kayaking on the lake, long leisurely mornings with coffee on the screened in porch, exploring the NEK. Owners were friendly. Only 8m to downtown Newport; although there isn’t much there, we enjoyed the farmer’s market and Thai restaurant. Overall it was exactly what we were looking for.
