Beautiful property with lovely staff! Very clean, perfect location.

My room was right in front of the pool that was being renovated.....very disappointing to be paying so much money per night and have such an ugly view. They should of discounted the room or informed be prior to my arrival so I could make an informed decision!

Amazing property with lots of activities on site. The rooms are spacious, clean and filled with amenities like a full kitchen and beautiful bath tub. The staff was friendly and accommodating. We will be back!

Wonderful service all around - beautiful property. We will visit again.

This is our third trip to this hotel and it never disappoints. It won’t have tons of food or service amenities (large spa, etc) but everything is more than adequate and the spacious rooms and ideal location make up for having less restaurants than a typical hotel. The rooms can be a little loud if you’ve got someone with kids running above you - that’s really my only complaint about the place and that’s a minor one!

Loved our stay here! Beautiful resort with friendly staff, spacious rooms, and reasonably priced for its location and quality.

The only thing I have to say is that they were booked completely for the second night we wanted to stay. Definitely not enough for one night. We'll come back again for at least three nights... we really didn't get a chance to take advantage of what this hotel has to offer..

This hotel seriously needs to keep its pool area clean... it was super crowded and disgusting!! We went at 3 pm, and it was a complete mess. The pool was super crowded with kids and families everywhere, and we could not find a chair. After a while, we realized that people leave their towels all over the chairs even when they don't come back, as they don't have a check-in system for towels so people just leave them everywhere. There was food trash all around the pool area. I saw one person cleaning, but he didn't take all the trash around the chairs, and so soda cans were left sitting all day. We had to take wet, used towels as no clean ones were available. They only give you one parking spot near your room even if you book 2 rooms, so you have to park in a garage about an 8 minute walk away. The rooms are very nice though.

We celebrated my wife's 40th birthday. It was a surprise, I told her we were going to a Italian restaurant in Newport and right before we hit PCH i told her I got a villa for the night. I told her we had some extra time so let's check out the room. When we open the door to a dark room all her friends were there to surprise her The villa was large enough to fit 10 couples comfortably. The front desk was able to find me a room for early check in so that we could get the room ready before she got there (even though it was 100% occupancy that day) The staff there was awesome, never did any say "sorry we can't do that" it was always "yes absolutly we'll take care of it". We did attend the next day a timeshare presentation. We already own a timeshare but went anyway to see what they had to offer. They were very nice and when we told them we weren't interested there were no hard sales to follow. We either had a choice of $200 or tickets to Disneyland. We took the tickets since our son has never been. All in all it was a great one night stay-cation with a nice treat at the end

We did have an issue with plumbing and when I mentioned to a staff member it never made it back to the front desk. I did speak with the front desk prior to checkout as it only happened a few times and all she said was oh, I am sorry to hear that she did not offer anything else to me other than that. Being a Marriott preferred guest I guess I expected a bit more. All and all we really liked this property.

we stayed here for only one night but the staff was amazing and the location couldnt be more beautiful. its a must stay!

From the moment we arrived everything was perfect. The room was extremely roomy for 3 adults and 3 children. We wish we could of stayed longer but have already planned our next trip.

Very nice overall experience but the in room internet (wifi) was slow as a sea turtle .. About 1 meg down load widen I tested it. The hassle of using a room card key to access the pool was annoying and the amount they charge to stay there seems .. excessive .. Oh they need more restaurants ... the kiddy food at the pool... not so good... drinks were awful..

Check in was after 4:00 PM. That in my opinion is late. Other than that, Every thing was fine.

Loved the child friendly environment. Their on site market was not ridiculously marked up like many resorts. The rental gear and shuttle to the beach were excellent. Loved the playground for the little kids as well as the sand area and tetherball court. The only reason I marked it down was the noise level from the kids jumping up and down upstairs repeatedly.
