Room was clean and were allowed access to the room earlier than check in time which was greatly appreciated, especially when travelling with a child. Staff were very welcoming. Went for an evening meal, service was average, ordered a drink that never came, asked for the child’s meal to come out with the adults main, didn’t happen. Staff at the bar were lovely. Breakfast was great, staff though sparse were lovely.

Spotless room. Great location for Football ground and city centre. Ate in the hotel restaurant and food was excellent. Recommend the steak. Reasonable prices for a Hilton hotel

Room was cold even with the thermostat turned to highest temperature. Bath water also not hot enough. Shower was good. We booked a king suite and there were multiple stains on the carpet in the lounge area. Expected a much better standard from Hilton.

This is my first time staying at any of the Hilton group hotels. The lobby looks just like the pictures and looks good. Sadly everything else went down hill from here. we went into our first room and it stank of cigarette smoke.I explained to the desk staff that the room stank of smoke and they gave us another room. The 2nd room smelled fresh, but there were huge stains on the carpet i would never have taken my shoes off. I went to reception and asked for the manager, the young lad at the desk informed me he was the assistant manager and he accompanied me to the rooms. He apologised and we were moved into a third room. He later came back with a token towards a meal at the hotel. The restaurant food was good, but the seating areas were thread bare with big tears. Staff in the hotel are 100% genuine and helpful. Question would i stay here or in any other Hilton group hotels "NO", if this is anything to go by on the standard of hotels i will avoid them totally even if they were half the price (not even cheap) Very disapointing stay

Nice hotel

Hotel is great, rooms were clean, I only have one issue, the windows in the room, they cannot be opened so after 1 weeks stay the room is quite musty as no fresh air in the rooms

Decent, clean room and stay. Got a decent sleep, good facilities like bar on site etc. Blackout curtains and quiet. Only couple of letdowns were broken air con so it was a bit hot but I never bothered reporting it as didn’t really affect me, and the breakfast was pretty dire

Lovely place to stay. My only criticism is when asking where to park the receptionist on the phone recommended a car park miles away (st Mary's). Don't! As long as it's not a match day, it was easy to park straight outside and then don't pay in the blue car park, they have a code inside for half price.

Very helpful staff and the room was very clean. Bathroom also very clean with all we needed toiletries wise. Great size TV too. The only thing we would say was the carpet was quite stained looking in numerous parts and the mattress wasn’t very comfortable for us but overall would stay here again maybe in a better bed perhaps. We weren’t put off using this hotel again in future though.
