Fantastic location
We stayed at Surf Mist for 4 nights with our 2 children. The location is perfect & the view (albeit with the scaffold there - which we were aware of) is fabulous. Spacious enough for the 4 of us for the 5 days. There was a power outage (on our 25 year anniversary) which was annoying however, the staff went above & beyond to cater for this providing esky’s for our fridge items & coffee/milkshakes in the morning. Our only points to raise would be there are no working exhaust fans in the bathrooms, you cannot access the large wardrobe in the main bedroom (it is locked) & we had to clean the floor of the balcony due to excess sand as well as cleaning the glass as it was almost impossible to see through when sitting down (especially with the scaffold/2 layers of mesh).Overall though we were very happy with surf mist & staff.
