AMAZING WORTH REBOOKING

I love the place!! And definitely worth rebooking!! The host was very responsive and accommodating! The listing mentioned having a blender. When we got there i couldn’t find it and the host brought it right over!! I was very happy that the place had a ac window unit in each room! I love my family in New Jersey but i refuse to stay with them as an adult during the summer bc they don’t have AC in every room! This rental made me enjoy my summer in Newark even more! The bedding was clean, the bathroom was clean, the kitchen was clean!! The towels were clean and soft! The neighborhood was very safe and perfect for an outdoor run! There is a park less than a mile away for children! For me personally, having some sort of drinking water filter would’ve made me even more pleased! My only concern was the breakfast bar, it wasn’t secured to the base/wall. When we leaned on it and lifted up. So we didn’t get a chance to use the breakfast bar. When you arrive and something isn’t right, just communicate with your host and allow them to address your concerns! Very pleased highly rated!!

Enjoywd our stay

We really ejoyed our stay. The check in was a bit confusing. You can only open and close the frontdoor of the building with a downloaded app. Because we re from europe it was a bit of a hastle switching from the internet and then to getting a text message. But Zee was sooo extremely helpfull and patient!! We got it done and them it was soo easy!! But still it felt a bit weird that if someone wanted to leave the house , with the app, the others can t get out without it. The apartment was everything we ve expected. Two bed rooms with comfortable beds. The other two beds were in a part of the living room. My son didn t mind but there s no privacy in that “ bedroom” and the curtains were really light so daylight got through. The kitchen could use a coffeemaker. I love my coffee in the morning so that would have been great. But everything you needed was there. One day the toilet got clogged. That s a problem because there s only one. We contacted Zee early in the morning and I was so hapyy that Zee responded almost immediately!!! He arranged a plumber and he fixed the problem. It worked again for a few days but unfortunately the day we left it got clogged again. If you have a car to park we thought it was easiest to park it in the street. That was no trouble at all. Sometimes in front of the house or just a minute walk. Quiet street. 5 minute drive from south Orange. Small town with a few restaurants, grocery store amd a train station. We had a great stay!

Great location for travel to NYC

This apartment was exactly as pictured - a cute place that's clean and spacious for a family of four. It's in a safe part of town, just a few blocks away from a really nice area with lots of restaurants and stores. The check in process was just a bit confusing but the owner was very responsive and helpful. It would have been nice to have instructions for the stay printed out for reference, but the owner did send them at regular intervals in an app that you'll need to download for your stay. Notifications will need to be turned on so you don't miss any of the owners 'texts' via the app. The apartment was very close to NYC and we drove in every day. Even in the worst traffic, it only took a little over an hour to get to NYC (and that's again in very congested traffic). They are neighbors upstairs but you could barely hear them. We did have to negotiate parking in the driveway, which was fine, because it can be hard finding parking on the street. Overall - a very good stay. Would stay again when we travel back to NYC.
