Fabulous location between various local street eats and the famous Tamsui Old Street, this tiny boutique hotel is a hidden gem! I was greeted by the charming receptionist at the elevator who kindly guided me to a few local eats while keeping my luggage safe since I arrived before check-in time. Not only were Irene’s recommendations fabulous, she made sure my room got cleaned first so I could check-in early and get settled in. When I asked about some travel logistics to the venue for my event, she kindly figured out the bus route for me and anticipated my various other travel needs. As you can see from the photo, the room is nice and clean, with complementary beverages and hot water machine for those of you that like to make tea or coffee on the spot. Seriously though, beyond being nice and clean, it’s the concierge like service that really sets the place apart. I would recommend this place whole heartedly without reservation!

Poor location for my purposes

My trip to Taipei was a last-minute change in plans and I didn’t spend much time checking hotels. The quality of the OpenRoom was fine, but I thought the location was poor. For my purpose, sightseeing in Taipei, it was very much out of the way. The room itself was perfectly acceptable and the Internet service was the best of any of the four hotels I stayed in on this trip.

Elegant, spacious room, great location

This hotel is just a short, easy walk from the subway station. The neighborhood is great with street markets nearby on both sides of the street. The room came with complimentary food and drinks and a machine that produced hot and cold water. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

There is an extra charge per kid even if we did not require an extra bed or extra beddings. But this was not specified in the details upon booking. Also, the extra charge written inside the room stated 350 per child, but at the front desk, we were charged 500 per child.

非常高CP值

離捷運站走路5-8分鐘就到了，樓下有公車站搭公車往附近景點也方便。服務人員非常親切而且很願意提供幫助。可以看的到淡水河的景觀非常棒。唯一可惜的是浴室的蓮蓬頭水壓有點不大夠，不過瑕不掩瑜。下次住宿一定還是會選擇這間。
