Great hotel with some flaws.

Stayed here for the first time, booked the Double Deluxe room. There was a check-in counter, manned 24/7. Not sure why Hotels states there isn't one. Check in was quick and easy. There was a smell in the hotel, but it's almost unnoticeable. Public transport in the area is not that great. However, there is a 7-11 nearby the hotel for your snacks and necessities. The room was large. Had a King sized bed and a couch with space left. The bathroom was huge too with a big bathtub and separate shower, if that's what you look for. Could get noisy as it's facing the highway but with the bathroom door shut and curtains drawn, the room is almost silent. The downsides of the room are the small but important ones. No full length mirror, no clock and the only wall plug was at the table across the bed. My ceiling had some dust bunnies hanging from it as well. Also, to borrow an iron and ironing board, you would have to pay almost NTD4000. I did not borrow them so I hope it is only a deposit. Aside from that, the breakfast had an okay spread of protein and carbs. Can also make toast and coffee. Friendly staff will make your mornings good. When it's time to leave, just book a taxi from the front desk, which cost me NTD1200. This hotel is a good choice if you don't mind not being able to bang out some weights, the slightly inconvenient location or not being able to charge your phone while lying in bed.

An excellent hotel. The room was large and the soaking tub was excellent. The hotel is in an commercial type area (car parts, cleaning cars, etc) and the MRT was not close, but the quality of the hotel made up for this. Breakfast was good and even when there were a lot of people in the restaurant there was always fresh, hot food being brought out.

Convenient to the airport

The hotel was better than average having some pros and some cons. Check was smooth and quick. The hotel was clean, but just did not smell fresh. The room was good. A very big shower, clean. Internet was easy to access and a good connection. I was on the 8th floor and although near a major through fare when the bathroom door was shut, no discernible road noise. No view either, but that was ok with me. This hotel seems to cater to local trade conventions but during my stay, nothing like that was going on. So only 3-4 people in the breakfast area. The location was convenient to the airport, and convenient to New Taipei City XinDian where I had a morning meeting at 10:00 am. There in 20 minutes

Great hotel, OK location

Hotel was great... Loved the soaking tub, modern decor and fixtures. Staff were very accommodating and friendly... Overall great stay... Down side is location, I had a car rental, but... if staying in Taipei without a car, not the best spot, not much around.

Hotel at new Taipei

Room is very nice, nice big tub to soak in after a tiring day. Restaurant is decent, hotel staff is friendly and helpful. Near to some eateries n banks during the day though fewer during the nites. 7-11 abound though. Nice spread of breakfast items.

Nothing more than a clean room to stay!

Room is clean however facility is visibly old. Location is in a semi-industrial area with noisy traffic and no access to acceptable dinning. Pretty rare situation for Taipei City. The breakfast is minimum acceptable grade.
