Always a great stay at Horseshoe Riverside Lodge. Easy walk to Whitewater Amphitheater for a concert or to a couple of local restaurants. Step off the back porch to float the Horseshoe portion of the Guadalupe. Owners and staff are hard working and very accommodating. We will be back soon!

Beat place to stay on the Horseshoe!

Wendy and Doc are so welcoming and they always check in to make sure we have everything we need. The property is beautiful—so peaceful and well-kept. We love staying here. It’s a great get-away!

Great location and back view!

LOVED the back deck overlooking the river. The room was great except the bathroom. For a man, it’s okay. For women who have to primp it’s awkward. The location and back of the hotel make up for the awkward bathroom though. And it was clean. Internet didn’t work well either.

This is the best place on the river to stay this is our 2nd year and plan on being back every year! Location is close to Gruene or New braunfels and the Hwy. I want to thank them for being a great place!

This was one of the best stays we’ve had in years. Immediately after checking in for our one night stay we looked around and requested a second night and the process was seamless. Wendy greeted me in the office and made check-in and the adjustment so simple. We met Vinny (the maintenance/cleaner) and he was the most polite, helpful and attentive hotel worker we have ever had the pleasure of meeting on a trip. The rooms were cozy, super clean, and the access to the river was an added bonus. Overall, this is a new place we will highly recommend to friends and family & be back over and over, and can’t wait to start planning our next trip!
