We enjoyed our stay with family. Was a little bummed there was not a Christmas tree but that was not expected. However, we were told there would be starter items but the only starter items were toilet paper and 2 trash bags. We had to purchase a shower curtain for the downstairs bathroom and many other things but once we made the trip to the store all else was fine. The master area was a substantial size which was great. Seemed clean overall but the rugs need replacing as they are very worn and dirty. Just some small things could make this a 5 star stay!

Great Views

Our family with 3 adult children greatly enjoyed our 5 day stay. The view of the lake from the balcony is splendid. The living room was great for watching movies and playing games. We also enjoyed the hot tub. The location is about 25 minutes from Schlitterbahn and tubing on the Comal River but the drive is pretty through the hill country. The kitchen had what we needed as far as pots, pans, utensil but there were no oven mitts nor kitchen towels.

Great Stay

We enjoyed our stay. The balcony had a beautiful view of the lake. We had a few deer visit in the early morning and late evening. Quiet community, and fabulous house.

Great House, lots of room and well appointed kitchen!

Very spacious, comfortable and well appointed home! Unbelievable amount of closet space and a huge comfy couch in the living room! I really appreciated how well stocked the kitchen was, tons of plates, glasses pots and pans, asWell as a Keurig coffee maker for our morning coffee.

Family weekend getaway

My family and I went for a mini spring break vacation. The house was as described, and we had a great view of the lake from the balcony. We even saw some deer around the home. The only thing I would say is that the home could've been cleaner. There was a lot of dust, one of the sheets in the guest bedroom had a stain on it. The shower curtain in the guest bathroom was dirty and should be replaced. The floor was also dirty, as soon as we got to the house my son took off his shoes and his feet were black. Overall, we had a great time and enjoyed the hill country.

Canyon Lake Stay

One reason we selected this home because it was a nice distance between Austin and San Antonio. Our stay included doing things in both cities. The home was just as it described in the ad. The upstairs balcony provided a nice view of Canyon Lake. Wildlife is abundant all around this house...mostly deer. The house is unique in that the kitchen, family room and master bedroom are upstairs to take advantage of the views. Beds were comfortable and everything was very clean upon our arrival. If we could leave a suggestion, my wife wished there were some pot holders to use in the kitchen. Also, while they had and we used the toaster oven, we sort of missed just a toaster in general, mostly for breakfast. This is a very nice home in a very nice community. Actually, I was just a little disappointed in Texas as a whole but not sure why compared to some of the other parts of the country we visited. On the other hand, the Hill Country is very pretty, and the house had nothing to do with enjoying Texas. If your going to visit the area, I would definitely recommend this home.

Perfect Getaway

Beautiful practically new home in the hill country surrounding Canyon Lake. Perfectly suited to our family! The property managers were very accomodating and we would love to stay here again some time, as we do have a lot of family in the Austin, San Antonio, Bulverde and New Braunfels area. It's a good location for us to visit them all.

Great experience

Bring your own coffee or K-cups. Very nice place, clean and comfortable. We had an issue at arrival with the upstairs thermostat, it was limited at 75 and had a lickout. Management company hor witg homeowner, and issue was quickly resolved.

Spring break !

I enjoyed every moment of the home and property overall. The view of the lake in the morning is breathtaking. I love to get away from the city and go to canyon lake for a reset. This house was very relaxing. Would definitely recommend and come back!

Great family spot

The Good: Nice big living room, nice sized kitchen, we hade a great time on the porch. The kids loved the bunk beds. Check in and out was very easy. The not so Good: The backyard goes downhill The upstairs shower needed to cleaned more thoroughly.(There was a bunch of hair on the shower walls) but it was fine.

The deck alone is worth the stay

This place provided for a perfect getaway for me and a few girlfriends. The house is a little off the beaten path, so mornings enjoying the view of the lake on the deck were absolute bliss. But still within a 20 minute drive of numerous restaurants and entertainment. Plenty of outdoor or indoor seating. The bedrooms were all comfortable, property is clean and newly updated, clean bathrooms, well-stocked kitchen. Highly recommend!

As Described

Great place and plenty of room, very comfortable. Make sure to bring extra toilet paper, paper towels, etc, there were 6 of us for two nights and 2 of us for one big he and we ran out. Also internet was out for at least half the time but we know that’s unavoidable many times.
