The River and property and staff are excellent
The property was right by the river and it was exactly as described in the reviews. We loved our experience!
I really enjoyed my balcony view of the river.
Had "guaranteed" check in at 4pm but took until 6:30pm to actually get a room only after repeatedly asking the front desk. There were multiple people waiting after that to get their room. These rooms were booked months in advance for a wedding.
Good location, next to river, close to store and other business
No room service...have to go downstairs for coffee and the food comes in cardboard boxes...who serves over medium eggs in a box? No plate. Swanky motel 6..won't go back
Hotel was fine and a good location. Staff was friendly.
You basically get a hotel room for more than the cost of a typical room plus they are very harsh about refunds/cancellations and breakfast is not included. Drinks cost a fortune, and the river front is not that big of a deal. The hotel was also very noisy. We were glad to get away. Would not stay there again if could do over.
Our check-in time was 4pm, but they were not sure they had a room available for us on our arrival at 4pm, however they did manage to eventually find one.We stayed 4 nights and our room was never cleaned before 4pm the following day and on one occasion the room was cleaned after 6pm. The property is definitely understaffed! The pillows were of very cheap quality. I would encourage management to invest in a couple of quality pillows for each room rather than 5 inferior pillows per room. I could not wait to finish up my stay as both my neck and back were getting progressively sore with each passing day. Leaving the hotel was an experience all by itself. The exit empties onto a frontage road where cars are exiting the freeway at a high rate of speed. I would recommend a turbo-charged car to get you out of the parking lot safely. The hotel is described as a village, but I could never figure out what was so "village" about it. I think a more accurate description would be river front property. All in all, I would never stay at this particular hotel again in the future.
great experience and great hotel wish i had more time to stay longer
I came for a job interview and arrived at nearly midnight. The staff were very welcoming and courteous.
Perfect location to explore New Braunfels, the wineries and the Hill-country. Beautiful grounds along the river!
