Angler Haus , Wundercove Cottage , Access to Shared Pool and River

Our Angler Haus is a 2 bedroom 1 bath and sleeps up to 8. Angler Haus has a queen in the 1st bedroom and 4 twins in the 2nd bedroom plus a futon in the living room. The living room has Satellite TV and there is wifi. Complete kitchen to cook your meals, full bathroom with walk-in shower, toilet and sink. Access to shared pool that can be heated upon request. You can message your host for details and pricing. Pool heater runs from 10 am to 8pm.

Enjoy the evenings in our screen porch or outside deck with bbq pit. Located on Guadalupe River at Lake Dunlap. There is common area hot tub about 20ft from Angler Haus and common area pool with another hot tub is 2 doors down behind our Lago Haus. Lake Dunlap is full and you have direct river access for swimming, fishing, and kayaking.

These properties are located on a very quiet cove on Lake Dunlap. It is only 3- 4 miles to Gruene, Schlitterbahn, N.B.Hist. Dist., restaurants, shops, bars, theaters, tubing the Guadalupe and Comal Rivers. The Outlet malls in San Marcos are only 15 minutes away, N.B.Airport 2 miles, San Antonio Airport 30 minutes, Austin Airport 45 minutes.

Also river outfitters can pick your group up from any of our properties and take you to either the Comal or Guadalupe Rivers for tubing, providing required equipment for your float, put you in and then pick you up at the end of your float and bring you back approx $30 per person, min of 6.

In total we have seven cottages, with each cottage posted here individually to book separately, a combination of or book all 7 together. Each cottage sleeps 8, you can book any combination to accommodate your group size.

Pet Policy: We accept mainly small dogs that are are less than 25 lbs. You must have previous approval from us. There is a $50 pet fee per dog. Absolutely, we do not accept more than two (2) dogs per house & they must be housebroken, licensed, vaccinated, well behaved, non-aggressive, and pest free! Guests agree to clean up feces after their dog. Dogs must be crated while left alone on premises. Guests agree to pay any damages caused by dogs. No dogs on furniture or beds. Guests agree to be in full control and take full responsibility for their pet’s behavior. Area leash laws must be followed.
The vacation home is air-conditioned and features a patio and space to spread out with 3 bedrooms. Other standard amenities include a washing machine, a sofa bed, and a microwave.

We love the quaintness of cabin and wonderful outdoor setting. Well stocked with all necessities. AC worked great! Only unpleasant situation was neighbors kids and dog running thru our back patio area They were a bit loud but overall loved the location!

Me and my 2 cousins rented 3 of the 4 or 5 units and had a blast, the sam wasnt fixed at the time and still had a blast haning around the fire pits, pool, hot tubs and picnic tables will definitely come back

The place is really cute and the property is set up well. The heated pool was still very cold, but didn’t stop my kids from jumping in. The shared hot tub was occupied by a group staying in a building closer to the hot tub and difficult to get time in. We were glad to get a last minute booking and be able to bring our dog.

Cute rustic waterfront cottage

The cottage was as described. It was cute and country rustic, what I’d expect to see on the water. Check in was super easy. Pool area was very nice. Outdoor area was very pretty and restful. Loved the screened in porch. Kitchen was fully loaded. Beds were comfy. Lots of towels. Very close to attractions and dining. Must, must, must eat at Alpine Haus....so good!!!!! Old cemetery across the road... I like reading stones so that was a happy surprise. Very quiet location. We enjoyed our stay. Cleaning could be kicked up just a notch. Gentleman next door was super nice and offered up so much information. We’d stay here again without question.
