I liked the room, the property and the staff. The only problem is that the service is great when you are buying packages and excursions through the hotel. The service isn’t great when u have a problem and need help. In my opinion, real customer service occurs when u have a problem. I was bit by a dog in town. I tried to reach the owner to get papers and the staff tried to help me communicate but was told that the owner wasn’t cooperating. After realizing that Goreme is a small town and almost everyone probably knows each other, I decided to call the previous hotel I stayed at in Istanbul and they told me about something called the tourism police. Tekkaya should have given me my options. Instead I was never able to get the cooperation of the owner and had to cut my trip short and head back to the states. In The end this wrecked my entire trip.
Great room, great staff and fantastic breakfast! Manager and staff are all very friendly. We all enjoyed our stay and the trips they suggested us. Moreover, specially thank to Max! He helped prepare breakfast bags when we have to take an early flight!

First of all I would like to let you know that I am so sorry for your review. Even though I didn't know the owner of that restaurant, I found it and I called her for you and also I gave the contact information to you. Even though it was not our mistake or problem that you were been in another restaurant that you went yourself, and even though we didn't know the owner (even if we knew, we care about our guests more than any other people around here) we tried to do our best just to help our guest.
