The pictures don’t do this place justice. The house and the grounds are absolutely magical. Not only is the house beautiful, but it’s comfortable and has everything we needed for our stay. Our host, Francesca, was warm and extremely responsive. We stayed for a month and didn’t want to leave. Hope to go back again soon.

Lovely stay in Valpolicella

Absolutely wonderful stay with friends and family in the hills above Verona. The villa was impeccable and beautifully done. Thre gardens are lovely. The caretaker was very helpful and the owners have two wonderful dogs. We hope to be back.

Amazing Villa in the foothills of Verona

Our stay at this villa was amazing. This beautiful and spacious 15th century farm house was more than we ever expected. I will struggle to explain the rustic beauty and luxurious feel of the property. Our hosts were so kind and helpful. They ensured our stay was perfect and went above and beyond to help us when we had travel difficulties. It's so nice to find genuinely caring people. We will never forget our brief but wonderful vist.

An amazing stay! 10/10

This was an amazing property. Myself and 7 others checked in for a long weekend away. We were all blown away at how beautiful the house and garden were. We spent the weekend relaxing in the garden, using the pool and sauna, eating outside and having movie nights. The setting is so idyllic. The property is tucked away in the countryside overlooking a vineyard. It is about 20 minutes in a taxi from the city centre which makes it easy to get to. Remember to bring cash for the taxi as the internet for the card machines doesn't always work. Francesca is a 10/10 host. She was there when we needed her, very quick to respond to questions over the phone and helped us with taxis. She made the whole settling into the house seamless. I can't fault the house or the host. I would 100% come back to this house!

We were warmly welcomed by the landlord. The object with garden was nice and big and spacious. The bedding was as advertised, but the small single room had no window and no air conditioning. The dishes in the cupboards weren't really clean and there was even a used pot in the cupboard. This was probably due to the defective dishwasher. The landlady tried to fix the problem. In addition, the television (for children) in the living room also didn't work and the laundry from the washing machine also came out a bit dingy. All in all, the overnight price of EUR 700.00 per night is very high. In addition, there is the very poor access route to the accommodation, which can almost only be managed with four-wheel drive.

This house is absolutely gorgeous and in such a lovely setting. We had plenty of space for our family of 4, and the house was extremely clean and nicely appointed. Francesca’s yard is beautiful and she was such a great communicator. We really enjoyed our visit and will definitely be back!

Total Charmers -- the Place and the People

Authentic stone farmhouse from the 1400s, beautifully updated! Great for our extended family group, with big open areas to gather and cook and swim and sauna. And the hosts are very darling and helpful! (and their big friendly dogs adopted us as well!)

Gorgeous countryside

If you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city, this is the place to come. The property is so peaceful and situated so you don’t have to interact with the host if you don’t want to. There is a steep drive and some steps to the property but most cars should handle the drive and our 80 year old parents handled the steps fine. The 2 dogs (Nina and Victor) are people lovers and sweet. Alexandra is attentive and accommodating. Giuseppe has helpful tips for the area. This place is a great location for exploring all the wonderful Amarone wine makers in the area.

Beautifully appointed property.

Fantastic home in a great location. The house is located just a 15 minute ride north of Verona and is therefore perfect for families or couples to stay while experiencing the true delights of the idyllic and picturesque region. Easy trips can be made to Lake Garda, famous wine regions and even further afar including Milan, Venice and the Dolomites. We were thoroughly impressed by the holiday home and the warmth and helpfulness shown by our hosts Francesca and Giuseppe. All rooms are well equipped with everything you need. Phantastische Zeit im Valpolicella Gebiet

Das Ferienhaus lässt keine Wünsche übrig. Die Räume sind alle sehr geräumig und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Der Garten ist auch sehr schön. Die Lage ist absolut ruhig und der Weg nach Verona kurz. Dank der erhöhten Lage ist die Temperatur 3 Grad niedriger als in Verona.

A Perfect Getaway

This property looks great on the website, but it’s way more spectacular in person. The home is an authentic, old structure made of stone and is situated in the countryside of Valpolicella. The property is huge, with many opportunities for walks on country roads and pathways. The grounds are beautiful and very well-maintained. The owners are fastidious and are always working to keep things clean, tidy and well manicured. The house has been completely refurbished and is tastefully decorated (You won’t find any of grandma’s old, discarded furniture in this home.) Everything has been thoughtfully curated and well designed and there is lots of space for a comfortable, long stay. Beppe and Francesca are the best hosts ever! They are so very kind and helpful. From our initial interactions via email through the end of our stay, communication has been stellar. We have been to Italy many times and this is truly the best experience in a private home that we have ever had. We can’t wait to come back next year.

Spacious retreat

Peace in the hills north of Verona. Lovely hosts made us feel welcome. A great base to explore the area from Verona to Lake Garda and Venice. We also enjoyed the walks from the house.
