For a small supposed 5 star boutique hotel, the service was disappointing . Dirty plates and glasses left out for hours, unfriendly staff and the only terrace space and pool area was not cleaned daily as would be expected. The room was fine although we had hours of issues to start with as the aircon didn’t work and the staff couldn’t understand why and kept telling us it’s working when it wasn’t. Hardly a great start to a stay! The beds are comfortable and the village is nice but perhaps for a couple nights stay only. The pool is very small and the sauna is turned off continuously. The food and drink is overpriced considering the location and poor service.

I came to this hotel seeking peace, but left physically harmed and emotionally drained. After reporting a large ant infestation in the bathroom sink, I was told the room would be cleaned and items replaced. Instead, while I stepped out briefly, hotel staff sprayed Baygon pesticide—a chemical insecticide—without notifying me, without ventilating the room, and without protecting my personal belongings, including my toothbrush and skincare items left near the sink. When I returned, the air was thick with fumes, the window was closed, and there was no cleanup. I received no warning and no support. I had to leave the room immediately with a headache and wait over an hour in the lobby. I later paid out of pocket to use the hotel’s sauna in an attempt to detox my system. The bathroom has no ventilation. The window opens to a hot wall of pipes. The AC recirculated the smell, making it hard to breathe. I had to wear a KN95 mask inside the room. I am immunocompromised and currently managing cancer, and I made this clear to staff. Still, I was met with no urgency or care. Baygon is dangerous to inhale, especially for someone with health conditions. Yet the next morning, ants were back in the same place. Kai at the front desk showed kindness and empathy. But overall, this experience was negligent and unsafe—especially for a hotel marketed as a wellness retreat. Guests with health sensitivities: be cautious. Management will treat you like an inconvenience

We really enjoyed out 5 nights stay. The room was spacious and well finished. The pool area is beautiful. The food is amazing and the staffs were nice and helpful. The only thing I would suggest needs looking into is the slight off smell in the bathroom.

Wonderful stay

This was a trip for my birthday and we had a wonderful stay. Fantastic service, from the minute we arrived, the drinks to the jacuzzi and the helpfulness of the staff. The bed was so comfy, the only thing that would have made it better would have been a firmer pillow. The hotel is in a very quiet area and ubers can drop you straight to the door. There's also a bus not too far away. I'd highly recommend this hotel and I'd love to come back some time.
