We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It is a short walk into town and to the beach. There is a Spar grocery store across the street which is excellent for purchasing groceries, liquor and other items at lower prices than in the port. The hotel is small with a boutique feel. The staff were very helpful and eager to please. The rooms are clean and comfortable. One negative is that the shower is difficult to use because the tap and soapdish are in the middle of the shower taking up space instead of on the end where they are out of the way. I have a few bruises thanks to their location.
We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Nice rooms, excellent pool, good buffet breakfast and great service (apart from one grumpy guy on reception). The only down point is the walk to Naxos Town, although it is not far at all, it is along a road without a foot path. However this wouldn't stop us visiting again.
It’s not far from the port and lively town area...it’s location seems non descript, but it’s short walk to beaches and water activities concessions. The hotel itself and amenities are top notch....large pool and pool bar, large breakfast buffet. The access to your room is outdoors, so you always have this wonderful island feel, yet pampered by the beautiful architecture. Huge lobby for group gatherings....pricing during shoulder season is a great value
We had a great week in Naxos. The hotel was very comfortable, friendly, great breakfast and great location. Would definitely recommend and return again. The swimming pool and surrounding areas were lovely.
This is a lovely hotel within walking distance of beaches and town without being in the middle of the madness. The room was comfortable, the lobby large and welcoming, and breakfast was very good. The weather was wet and windy so we weren't able to use the pool, but it looked tempting.
Highly recommend Porto Naxxos. We loved this place. We had 2 bedroom adjoining rooms, very clean! Nice lobby area and pretty pool area with bar. Staff is so helpful! Breakfast is always wonderful. It’s about a 10-15 min walk to “city” where most restaurants and nightlife is.
The staff are excellent. We got stuck on naxos in bad weather and they accommodated us in every way possible connecting us with international calls and great service in this hard time for us. Rooms very nice and comforting, recommended.
Incredible service from the staff here, made us feel very welcome and went above and beyond to make sure we were looked after. The pool was always quiet which was very relaxing and the bar service at the pool was great. The rooms weren’t 100% like the photos but we still really enjoyed our stay and this isn’t something that made a huge difference. The only annoying thing about the hotel is the poor shower facilities - the shower is within a bath tub and is very low so if you are of normal/tall height, you cannot shower comfortably. We did let reception know of this at the time too. Otherwise an absolutely lovely stay in the heart of Naxos. Only a 5 min walk to shops and restaurants yet set back enough for peace and quiet.
We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights in late August and early September. The hotel is well situated near Ag. Georgis beach (about 400 metres walk) and close to Naxos town and port. Rooms were well appointed and clean. We stayed in a Garden View Room with a balcony. Garden was an overgrown vegetable garden that was out of control upon our arrival but was cleaned up somewhat during our stay. View was definitely nothing special and you would definitely be better off getting a pool view room.. Hotel was located on a busy road, adjacent to a very large parking lot and across the street from a supermarket (which was handy). Traffic noise was not a problem but walking to town or to the beach was somewhat precarious. Pool area was lovely and well served by Katerina. Breakfast (included) was very good and served on a nice terrace overlooking the pool. Kudos particularly to Alexis who greeted us each morning with a smile and a Kalimera. Front desk staff were friendly and responsive. Try taking one of the hotel's bicycles (which could use some TLC including lubrication) to Ag. Prokopios beach (5 kms.). Worth the ride.
the best hotel ever!!! Can' t wait to be back next year!!!! GREAT SERVICE, GREAT FOOD! CLEAN AND MODERN GROUNDS! Beautiful beach is just a walking distance; so are restaurants, shopes and port; free bikes from the hotel to rent which we took advantage of and biked 5km to even more beautiful beaches and villages on this island.
