In Galini (in Greek means serenity) which borders Eggares, is our "Elaia home", a legacy of love left to me by my great grandmother, who raised her children, grand children and great grandchildren. Along with the home and of greater sentiment are the endless memories made, which i'm yearning to share with my guests.

I fondly remember the bright blue door (a common feature of Cycladic homes) which always brought a smile to my face, as it was a doorway to aromas of happiness, calmness, welcoming love , my favourites together with the smokiness of the open fire place where all the cooking took place.
Never forget this time.

Up until 2022, the house was left untouched in its original condition. It is now a newly renovated home, immaculately designed according to the traditional architecture of the island. Our home is spacious, elegantly presented and furnished, whilst keeping in mind and blending the old with the new.

Upon entering you will find a fully equipped kitchen and a powder room. The upper floor offers one bedroom, a shower and a second toilet, offering amenities, WiFi and designated parking. Our home is your home, away from home.

"Elaia home" is located in the towns village - allowing our guests to live like the locals, whilst having direct contact with nature, offering gardens full of flowers, fruit and vegetable bearing trees and flowing streams. It promises to fill you with unforgettable memories and longing to visit again, just as the sentiments of the famous Greek writer Kazantzakis who confessed that "Eggares is simply heaven on Earth".

A baby cot can be provided at no additional cost.
