Stayed here and have no complaints. Clean and comfortable. All around pleasant experience. Good areas for walking dogs. Convenient to attractions and restaurants. Right across street from Visitors Center. Would recommend.
We usually never have any issues at a Holiday Inn Express, but there were several issues here. We booked two adjoining rooms. One of the rooms had a horrible odor!!!!! Even after spraying with Febreeze and a different sanitizer. The carpets were wet in both rooms. Found ants in the bed the next morning. We were staying another night in Natchez, but we didn't stay at Holiday Inn!!!!
We were here for two nights while in town for a festival. The rooms were very clean, with good air conditioning! Lol The check in staff was very helpful, as we were short a room upon arrival, but the fixed it asap. The complimentary breakfast is very good, and more than I expected. No vending machines on floors, but there is a well stocked "commissary" by the front desk.
Hotel was very clean & room was very spacious. Staff were very courteous & check in was a breeze. Breakfast had a good choice of items. Biscuit & gravy were good & of course those delicious cinnamon rolls are always a hit!
I requested cancellation of a 1 night stay one month before arrival when we changed our family road trip. Somehow the cancellation did not process. This hotel charged the full room rate plus taxes. During this trip, Best Western and Hilton provided 3 and 7 day email reminders of upcoming reservations. Holiday Inn Express doesn't provide this customary service so I was unaware the reservation was still active. When I called the hotel after receiving an email the day after check-in stating to check-out, I was told I must provide a cancellation number per hotel policy. I contacted IHG Holiday Inn Rewards Guest Relations and they created a case requesting a reversal of charges as a curtesy due to my 18 year membership. One week later I called IHG rep because I'd received no answer by email or phone. This hotel had rejected the request within 24 hours and sent an email to guest relations but not me. I requested a copy of the email (which I still haven't received) and a second review as the general manager had been on vacation. After 5 days, I called and the request to drop charges was again rejected. Even a compromise of reduced charges would have been appreciated. Valuable lessons - must receive an email with cancellation number or else the HI cancellation is not valid and other hotel chains are preferable due to their reservation email reminders.
Only good things to say. Most importantly, hotel was clean. Housekeeping was outstanding. Rooms were spacious and accommodating for our family of 5. Complimentary breakfast was good. Employees were all professional and friendly. No complaints. Definitely recommend.
Hotel was very nice and clean. Staff was always very helpful and the rooms were in great shape. Pool was nice as well. Only bad thing that can be said was there was no bacon on the breakfast menu. Other than that it was great! Biscuits and sausage gravy were good! Pancakes, yogurt and all types of juices. Will be staying here again!
Had three nights here in Natchez and really loved the town and the hotel. Brilliant location. Five minutes walk to visitor's centre where there is lots of information and you can pick up the hop-on, hop-off bus. We bought a ticket for two days for $22 each and it was well worth it for getting you around in the high temperatures. The guide on the bus - a Miss Debbie was an excellent raconteur. No complaints at all about the hotel. Clean, spacious and good breakfast. Pleasant staff. Used the pool twice which was enjoyable as it was in the shade in the afternoon.
Nice clean hotel. Staff if friendly and helpful. Central location for sightseeing located in the heart of the city with mansions all around it. I recommend this hotel to locals and visitors. Natchez is a beautiful city.
Very small sign on the road, so easy to miss. Too bad, because it's a good hotel. Clean, quiet, and comfortable beds. I really liked that the refrigerator had a small freezer as we travel with ice packs that need refreezing, and many places have new mini fridges that lack a freezer. This hotel is in a good location for the Visitors' Center, the downtown area, the antebellum mansions, and WalMart. I would recommend.
