The staff was nice. I found 2 roaches in my room. I killed them both plus one stink bug and an assortment of bugs were in the shower already dead. The walls needed painting. They were grimey and the carpets were yukky too. But, the worst thing of all was the stench of cigatette smoke EVERYWHERE! I had a non smoking room, but there were people smoking in other room, in the hallway, on the stairs, and right outside every door. It all leaked into my room and assulted me each time I left my room. I cannot stand cigarettes so this was a big deal to me.

The room had a terrible smell and plus never did any housekeeping during my stay!!! I would never return there.

Everything smelled like cigarette smoke. My room, the hallway, and the free breakfast was very unappealing.

Has a great restaurant attached to the building. That's the highlight. Kyle got us checked in quick and even switched us to a non smoking room. The hotel is definitely dated. Our biggest complaint is the shower curtain is to small ands the floor gets soaked. Otherwise, it was okay for a one night stay. The breakfast in the morning was bagels, muffins and eggo waffels.

Dirty place over all never stay their again room dirty and hallways out side dirty old and run down

This room was OK to get by for our needs that night. It was surface cleaned but the carpet was dirty and there was a lot of dirt in the corners. I suspect the floors needed a good strong cleaning! It smelled musty, smoky and old as if it needed a complete redo and airing. The mattress was clean as were the bathroom fixtures. However there was a lot of staining and visible patching which was not carefully done, giving it a dilapadated feel. They had replaced the sink faucet, the shower faucet needed repair. The water was hot, however. Overall, it was not the best, but we only stayed for six hours and we were on the road again.

My stay was wonderful. I really enjoyed the stay there was a jacuzzi tub in the room.

My young girls herd things they shouldn't have herd from 11:30pm-4:12am!! Rooms were huge and bathroom needs updating but the location is near an empty lot for truckers so beware they may have a room with a visitor

We were headed to Kansas City from Orlando so I booked two rooms to be free of the people who were riding with me. 12 plus hours of driving is enough to look at anyone much less sleep next to them. When we got to the hotel the front desk attendant was great. I had pulled to moving truck and trailer too far in and he helped guide me back to get out, and the manager moved his car to get me more room. That is where things take a turn. The other reviews are correct the room is huge. I had plenty of room. However, the bed and headboard were right on top of the outlet for the lamp so if you moved on the bed the light turned on and off. The bed was clean, but not the couch. The smell of cleaner was pungent enough to knock you unconscious, and it didn't seem to have been used on the shower at all. The AC unit took around 3 hours to actually switch from lukewarm to colder than Alaska in mid January. Which I like, but at 4am that was surprising. The bathroom was a comedy. The toilet was perfect. Looked like they had spent a couple hours making sure it sparkling. They had forgotten to make sure they refilled both toilet paper dispensers or have any extra toilet paper in the room. And of course it was falling off the wall. The towels were still fluffy like they had just been purchased recently, but the shower clearly hadn't been cleaned well. The water got hot quickly, and the mirror was clean but the sink and vanity were in danger of breaking off the wall. There was a very big, lets make sure to not touch the walls feeling about it all. When I think about it, the room was similar. When you looked at it quickly it was a good set up and great for the price. But the safe in the closet with no doors was leaning about to fall off its pedestal. The lower ceiling around the door was coated in dust and grime. The TV would have sound only on certain channels. The bed and pillows were insanely comfy save one cigarette burn on the inside of the main comforter that even I didn't notice until I was awoken by the sudden chill of the AC. I'm told my friend's girlfriend was having an allergic attack due to the cleaner, but otherwise their room was fine. So in the end my review is as mixed as my experience. The things they did well were great, but the things they missed on they really missed on. Was it enough to make me wish I had paid more and gotten rooms at one of the hotels I usually use? Yes. But would I have stayed in the same room with them to stay where I normally do? No it wasn't that bad. Seriously if you are tired enough, or on a tight budget it splits the difference. Next time I do this drive will be solo so they'd have to have some kind of super suite that I have video of them cleaning or have done some remodeling to. But if I had a situation like this one, or haven't booked before I started driving? There are much worse places to stay right by them. They are the middle of the I feel safe staying here group. Just need to pay more attention to the details. And don't drop the ball on the things i said I liked.

We were traveling from Florida to Wisconsin and needed a place to stop, sleep and go the next morning. Staff was very polite, room had quite a bit of space, room and motel were clean, bed comfortable and breakfast was good (cereal, coffee, tea, juice, muffins, bagels and fruit available). Right off I-24. Good value and good experience for us. I would stay there again for a stop and go stay.

Good service, the room is big enought with a sofa. But the room looks kinda dark, but still not effort it's value!

Room was older but clean. Was disapointed in lack of internet. They were having problems but it lasted all day into next day.

We make frequent short trips to this area and have looked for the "right" hotel. This may be it. The room was large and comfortable. There is a great restaurant next door. The price is right.

Dirty windows don't lock Room not clean Room humid Carpet smells etc

Booked online as we decided last minute to attend a TN State Track & Field event. Slim pickin's on available rooms so we expected dingy accomodations for the price range we could afford. Surprise, surprise. Nice, roomy, clean and cool. Did feel the price was a little too high but our visit was memorable.

Very friendly staff. Room clean with plenty linens. Needs some cosmetic work in bathroom. Overall a good place to stay for the price. Plenty places to eat within a few miles.

meet nice people. great workers. their breakfest food was good. nice room.

Other then the TV remote not working on the TV, stay was fine. Not the Ho Jo of the past, but not bad for the price. Breakfast was a bit lite. I'd stay there again though.

WOULD HAVE GIVEN IT A HIGHER RATING HAD WE BEEN ABLE TO GET A ROOM ON THE 1ST FLOOR. NO ELEVATOR.

We needed a place to spend the night so that my wife could recover from some surgery and go to the Dr. the next morning. Front desk personnel were great. I needed some x-tra pillows and it was not a problem. Breakfast could have been better.
