Kathy at front desk was very pleasant and accommodating!! Water pressure in shower was great! The hotel was okay at best. Not the quality I was expecting from a Holiday Inn Express. The hotel was very dated. It’s almost like the hotel was a sketchy motel before and Holiday Inn came in and dropped as little money as possible to update it. They should have just tore it down and started from scratch!! On a positive note, there is a very good local Italian restaurant down the street called Porta Via. Maybe the best chicken piccata I’ve ever had!

The hotel was decorated very festively when we arrived for check-in. The young lady at the front desk immediately greeted us and processed our check-in quickly. The hotel was close to Tennessee State University and allowed us to arrive without accessing the highway. I utilized the exercise room which was very well kept with nice equipment. I spoke with front desk agent upon leaving regarding an issue with my room and he was very attentive, agreeing to correct the situation immediately.

Great place for a one night stay. Room is clean staff helpful. They have a decent breakfast buffet. Don't expect anything super special. Shopping and restaurants are close by. Place is kid friendly has free parking. Downtown is just 10 minutes away

the hotel more than served it purpose. I was in Nashville because my brother was having surgery at nearby Saint Thomas hospital. If I hadn't of found this hotel I would not have been able to spend as much time with him before and after his surgery. Jennifer at the front desk was very helpful with an early check-in so I could get to the hospital when needed. Rooms were very clean, comfortable and quite so we were able to get rest at night. I'm not sure what has happened to the hotel rates in Nashville going so high lately, but I appreciate Holiday Inn Express for a reasonable rate here. Will be back when I can come to Nashville for FUN!!!

The staff, especially the gentleman at the front desk and the gal that took care of the breakfast line were great. The location of the hotel was perfect for my wife and I, as we were visiting Vanderbilt University and seeing the sites in Nashville. 15 minutes to the school and 20 minutes to downtown. First off, the price per night is outrageous. Compared to many other comparable hotels we have stayed at; it’s almost double a hotel anywhere else. The carpeting in our room needed shampooing as I could see where something had been spilled, even though the carpeting is dark brown. The internet was very intermittent, at best. Lastly, the parking lot is small and the parking spaces need to be at least 12” wider in order to facilitate loading and unloading. I am very frustrated with the fact that my brand new car now has door dings due to the small spaces.

This was one of the preferred hotels on out company travel site, and it happened to be one of the few that was reasonably close to the office and available. The hotel is not bad, the room was clean, coffee wasn't bad, but there are not many choices for good food with in walking distance. Walked across the street to Cinco DE mio Mexican a couple of nights, but that and Hattie b's hot chicken seem to be about all that is walkable unless you are willing to walk a couple of miles. Uber from here to the "better" restaurants on trip advisor get expensive quickly. Checked on an Uber to Macnameras Irish pub while at work and it was $17, got to the hotel and ready to go and all of the sudden the same ride was $70. Can't say anything bad about the hotel itself, it served it's purpose and was clean and quiet for the most part, but will definitely stay closer to downtown next trip.

We choose to stay here, and not closer to downtown, due to us just passing through Nashville on-route to Cleveland. We were a bit dubious staying this far out of town....but we were pleasantly surprised.  It does what it says on the tin: located not far from the interstate. It was spotlessly clean, the room was well presented, breakfast was a continental affair that  set us up for most of the day, staff were helpful from the out-set, and the pool was a welcome break from the Summer heat.  Was it worth the paying the money to stay outside a city center? Try finding somewhere cheaper in Nashville, that is in a safe area and has good amenities (good luck with that one). If we ever pass through Nashville again this would be our first choice.

Rooms had been recently renovated and the upgrade is modern and they were very clean. Front desk was friendly and welcoming. Complimentary breakfast in the morning was wonderful and fresh. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Stayed here for our trip to Nashville. Hotel is about a 15 minute drive to downtown Nashville. Clean, free breakfast, quiet. They do have a pool, although we did not use. Room was recently remodeled. Bathroom was a little small. They offer a large walk in closed, but nowhere to hang clothes inside. They did have a small closer like area near the entrance for hanging approximately 10 items. Went to use our shower and the water would not go down. Let the front desk know and someone was up there to take care of it within 20 minutes. Happy with service and our stay.

This hotel is just a few miles from the downtown area of Nashville and very easy to access. The common area and rooms are very clean and appear to be recently renovated. The breakfast nook is maintained well with good, hot food, well stocked and organized. At checkin, I was greeted by a friendly desk clerk and everything went very smooth. When I return to the area, I will use this hotel again.
