Holiday Inn Express was a life saver after my daughter and I planned visit to TSU over the weekend. Initially we made reservations at surrounding hotels. Once we arrived to those facilities we found them to be absolutely horrible. Fortunately when we pulled up the Holiday Inn it was like a breath of fresh air. It was clean and approachable on the outside and inside. The rates were reasonable, and the hospitality was great. Keep up the good work and quality. I will be back!

I spent 2 nights at this Holiday Inn Express in Nashville while attending training. The room was nice, bed comfy with lots of pillows. The internet access was pretty good, and there is a computer and printer located in the lobby. I had no problems with any noise from the lobby or service area as my room was located on the second floor in the middle of the hallway. A couple of my co-workers who also stayed there had noise problems. One on the first floor next to the laundry which started very early in the morning and another located next to the stairs. The breakfast was good with scrambled eggs, sausages, bacon, oatmeals with toppings, yogurt. The biscuits were pretty darn good, but I didn't care for the gravy. Overall it was a good stay.

My family has stayed at the property a numerous amount of times. Although, the last visit I was sold, to visit our daughter in college. The price is always right, compared to other comparable hotels. My a/c wasn't working properly and was fixed in an hour! Randrea at the front desk is always welcoming. Remembers us every time we visit. Goes out of her way to speak to us! I have dealt with all the front desk staff, she is a 5 star employee.

I stayed here for four nights while visiting family. I have to say I was a little disappointed because I usually stay at new or newly remodeled properties, but this is closest to my family. The staff was not overly friendly, well the front desk and breakfast staff, the housekeepers were kind. Breakfast was typical, but the egg options only changed once while I was there instead of everyday as many of the chains do. The room was clean. My room did have an adjoining door and I could hear a man on the other side yelling and on the phone with someone about his credit card. Fortunately, he only stayed one night. Other than that, there was never a noise issue. The location is convenient for many things, restaurants, shopping, or site seeing.

Walking in, no one was at front desk at prime check in time. Then we were assigned a room RIGHT next to elevators, despite my request otherwise. Came down to get different room, again no one at front desk. Leaving the next morning, the front desk person was scowling at the computer screen and ignoring the fact that someone had tracked in mud clods all over the lobby. This is an older hotel that has been refurbished poorly by HIE, definitely not up to their usual standards. The color scheme is atrocious, everything looks cheap. Not worth the inflated price when many of their other, newer properties are cheaper. The A/C did not maintain a consistent temp in the room. Positives are a convenient location, it was quiet, breakfast was good.

This Holiday Inn is just off Highway 40 on the West side of Nashville (5 mile to downtown). They are just South of Hwy 40 on White Bridge Pike with easy on and off. The hotel is not brand new, but is very well maintained. They have a large, lite parking lot nicely off the road. The grounds are well maintained. The main lobby also is quite nice, with a good sized breakfast area to the rear. The front desk staff was very friendly and quickly checked me in. They are a smoke free facility. Kids (19 & under) stay free in parents room. They have a fitness room, an outdoor pool and a self service laundry. The common areas (corridors) and my room (second floor) was just slightly dated. However, everything was clean and fresh. I had zero complaints or concerns with my stay. My room was very quiet. I had a good nights sleep. They do have cable tv and free WiFi. The breakfast area also was clean with a full compliment of HI standards (juices, coffee, tea, milk, yogurts, hot & cold cereals, waffles, breads, muffins, their famous Cinnamon Rolls, eggs, omelets, sausage, gravy). I found the food fine and everything I needed to start my day. They have fast food options quite close, including Las Palmas Mexican, Best of India, Kien Giang Chinese, Papa John's Pizza, Domino's Pizza, Jack in the Box, White Castle, Cinco De Mayo Mexican and McDougals Chicken and Wings. They also have a nearby Kroger's grocery and Walgreens pharmacy. I enjoyed my stay at this hotel and would have no hesitation to return.

This Holiday Inn Express is one of my favorites! We have stayed there many times because it is close to family. All the staff are friendly and courteous and very helpful right to offering a cart to carry our bags. The breakfast is always well-stocked and replenished and the area is very clean. Our room was spacious and well-designed for plugs and suitcases. Best of all, the personnel were very accommodating and pleasant.

The heat/ cooling was a definite downer. You can either freeze or burn up. We bought a fan for our second night , slept better. If you desire a little back grown noise from a bath fan and to clear the mirrors , you are out of luck. Furniture was a bit dated but that was not a big issue. Breakfast typical , coffee was great. Offered hot to cold continental, with cold biscuits and some type gravy and eggs? Bananas and apples, yogurt, breads, bagels, English muffins , cereal . The pancake cooker is pretty good. Bacon crisp . Nice cinnamon rolls .There was an room service menu but no onsite restaurant. Overall , For the time spent there for sleep could have been better.

Kathy at front desk was very pleasant and accommodating!! Water pressure in shower was great! The hotel was okay at best. Not the quality I was expecting from a Holiday Inn Express. The hotel was very dated. It’s almost like the hotel was a sketchy motel before and Holiday Inn came in and dropped as little money as possible to update it. They should have just tore it down and started from scratch!! On a positive note, there is a very good local Italian restaurant down the street called Porta Via. Maybe the best chicken piccata I’ve ever had!

The hotel was decorated very festively when we arrived for check-in. The young lady at the front desk immediately greeted us and processed our check-in quickly. The hotel was close to Tennessee State University and allowed us to arrive without accessing the highway. I utilized the exercise room which was very well kept with nice equipment. I spoke with front desk agent upon leaving regarding an issue with my room and he was very attentive, agreeing to correct the situation immediately.
