Comfortable/Great Location

Great location (across the street from the central train lines) and the bus to/from the airport. The location is very urban/gritty but felt totally safe. The accommodation is clean/comfortable. It is a very old building but has a lift. You choose what you want for breakfast and it is brought to your room. Good location to explore Naples and to catch the train for day trips.

The area around the property and around the Napoli central station was quite dirty. However, Re Diego was a pleasant. The staff is friendly and very helpful. There are many great dining options around the B&B. It’s also a quick 2min walk from the train station.

We had to lug our bags up 4 flights as elevator not available, a/c not working first night but quickly got fixed when we reported it. Convenient for trains, metro snd restaurants. Not the nicest neighborhood- but staff super nice.

City Break

This hotel is about ease of access to transport locations, booked as arriving by train and doing excursions and pick up for these was opposite hotel. Hotel is accessed by a door into a small square and 4 floors up, there is a lift. Exterior door is locked at night and you are provided with a key. Check in was easy and staff were helpful. Room was large and clean and modern bathroom, comfy bed. Shower was not the most powerful. Good breakfast choice which was delivered to your room at your time of choice. Outside is the train station area and there are a lot of people sleeping in the streets and hanging about but there is a police and army presence. A lot of rubbish lying about too because off this. There are restaurants opposite which were always full of tourists, would recommend Parthenope.

It is on a very convenience location. The rooms are very spacious and very nice! The host Susy is super attentive and responsive. Breaksfast is very good, has so many options! WiFi works perfectly as well. Also the decoration on the common areas are very cute and has Maradona paints!

A well located gem

Only a short stop over for 1 night, well located for train station and city. A typical Italian accommodation, looks a bit run down outside but once inside very well kept and decorated. Breakfast was brought to your room - there was a good choice. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Great for short stay but room quite small if staying for longer.

Our stay here was not good, they never had breakfast provided, and they tried to charge us 12€ for a “Tourist Tax”!!! They didn’t except card, only cash. This was a scam at us to get some extra cash. That’s distasteful.

This B&B hotel is among the highlights I have experienced in traveling Napoli. I would use these words: spacious, clean, convenient, value, and last but not least, the breakfast. Two nights in a single room with a king-sized bed, it makes me feel like in North America, and plenty of unit space. The ladies maintaining these units are super nice. It’s 3-min walk from Napoli Centrale Statione. The neighborhood outside, just like Roma Termini, is full of strange, or interesting people, but inside the building, at the 4th floor, the room is very quiet and the bed is extremely comfortable, feeling like a 4-star chain hotel stay. The in-room breakfast delivery service is extraordinary, and I really had good colazione. The hotel manager, Susy, tries to contact you with the heads-up on WhatsApp for checking in. I have plans to return to Napoli and go Puglia, so if I can book, I will try to stay here again. My only complaint is that the Wi-Fi signal is not strong enough, and in my case, I had to get closer to the entrance to establish Wi-Fi connection. If I lie in bed, away from the room entrance, I tried with two phones and my iPad, and very difficult to catch the Wi-Fi signals.

At first thought it was a bit of a trek as I walked up the stairs but what a fantastic place the lady at reception was very nice and I was surprised that breakfast was served in the room it is centrally located.I would definitely recommend the place to anyone

The hotel is located on the fourth floor of an oldbuilding. but the hotel rooms have been renovated and they look very modern. Complimentary breakfast is served in the room which was a perk. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
