The host is so, unbelievably friendly and helpful. What an enjoyable stay I had! And the building, is an old house from like 1692, so gorgeous. It was a tiny bit noisy, but that was only because I was right by reception. I would still go again

The property is unique in that the building was built over three centuries ago. That being said, there are some stairs to get to the location, so pack lightly. The hotel service was very friendly and the room was comfortable. Breakfast was a coupon for the cafe below, including a coffee and a pastry. The neighbourhood has lots of dining options, but the street is quite loud with traffic, horns, and sirens. The location is approximately 2km from the Centrale station and a short walk to a metro stop.

We arrived in the evening, so we needed a code to get in. Giangi, the owner, very kindly sent us details well in advance of our arrival and even made a personalised video on how to get to our room. On the day, we were welcomed by a note on the door, which was a nice touch. The room was spacious and clean and it was very close to the relaxation room, where you could get free coffee and water. There was a TV, a double and a single bed, and generous wardrobe space. Giangi is the perfect host, offering help and advice whenever needed. He is very knowledgeable, so there is no problem when asking him for suggestions on what to see in Naples and the surrounding area. The hotel is not suitable for disabled people and those with mobility issues, as it is a very old building with no lift. This is made clear on the hotel's own website, but not mentioned when I booked on Expedia. My mother has mobility issues and struggled with the stairs, so thankfully, we were roomed on the lowest floor. The hotel is on Via Foria, one of the main arteries in Naples. It is not a quiet road at all and it is best to ensure your windows are closed at night if you don't want to hear the constant stream of car horns. Be very careful when crossing the road near the hotel because drivers and moped riders have a habit of not stopping at crossings. Breakfast is at the Bar Foria between 7am and 10am. A wonderful experience!

I would stay at this property again. But, was disappointed that they advertised "full breakfast" and even have "bed and breakfast" in their name. However there was no breakfast provided by the hotel. Instead they gave the guests a voucher for a free coffee and croissant at a nearby caffe. There was no breakfast as advertised. And, BTW the man that ran the cafe for the voucher was very unfriendly and rude making the no breakfast issue even worse.
