We booked a room at this hotel because we arrived late in the evening and had an early flight the day after and this hotel seemd to be close to the airport. The hotel itself looks decent and is clean with a small garden. The room we had was quite big, clean and the bed was okey. We had a meal from the restaurant when we arrived and it was good enough for the price. Wifi in the room was really bad. Small bathroom, but for a night that is not a problem. Breakfast in the morning was really bad. The food options was limited, and the eating area was just a joke. We entered the restaurant and could see about half the tables were set with plates, glasses, cuttlery etc. So naturally we sat down on one of those tables, but we were quickly told that they were reserved for lunch...So we had to chose from one of the empty tables and grab the cuttlery, plates and glasses ourself. The glasses being white plastic cups of the kind you get at the doctors waiting room if have some water. All in all, if you stay for one night it is okey for the price. The city center is also close to the airport, so next time we will book a hotel there insted. It they just put in a little more effort they would deserve a 3, but I end up on a 2.
I am giving the hotel the benefit of the doubt by giving them a 2. The only two pros are that it is close to the airport and that the rooms are big. That said, there are numerous negatives. The air conditioner in the room (Room 101) worked horrendously. I called the front desk to complain about the air-conditioner after my sister spoke to a different representative and was told that there is nothing to do about it and that the hotel was fully booked. A representative came to the room to see the temperature and told us that the temperature of the room was normal and that all of the rooms were that temperature. I took him to parents room and showed him that their room was significantly cooler than ours but nothing was done about our room. My family checked out early two times and were told that we could have breakfast boxes. No boxes were provided for either time. My family was told that there was a shuttle service. When we asked the front desk, they said it was fully booked. We asked to make a reservation for four days later and were told that we were too many people (there were five of us). I asked whether the shuttle/car could make two trips (3 on one and 2 on the other) and the representative said we will see. I then suggested that they pick up part of our group and the others could find their own way. The representative said "oh the shuttle is booked." They said we would need to take a cab. The representative said they could request a large car for my group but if the request does not go through, we would be required to take two cabs (meaning double the price). The wifi worked well in the lobby, but did not work in the rooms. BE ADVISED when checking in-- the hotel staff asked us to leave our passports in the front so that they could make copies and return them in half an hour. I would not stay in the hotel again nor do I recommend anyone stay here. The hotel staff straight up lied about the air conditioner situation, misled us about the shuttle and failed to give us the breakfast boxes promised. They never apologized. As a four star hotel (as advertised), there should be a higher caliber of professionalism and hospitality.
I reserved this room for two separate nights because we were flying on an early flight to Greece and thought this hotel was close to the airport. On the first night we were only there for few hours and when we checked in we asked the receptionist if we could get a box for breakfast since we were leaving early the following morning. They never honored our request. On the second time we made the same request and also asked for the shuttle they supposedly offer their guests to the airport, but we were told that we were too many and they had no service on that day. I don't understand how we were so many when we had two rooms, one with two people and the other with three. Common sense should tell them they were separate rooms and therefore should have honored two separate reservations. The neighborhood is horrible and you see people fighting and yelling outside. The front door is locked and you have to ring the doorbell to get inside the hotel. The air conditioner is like a sauna and the rooms are very dirty. I dropped water on the floor and when I tried to wipe it the cloth I used was filled with dirt and human hair. Please avoid this hotel and go somewhere else, where you won't feel unsafe like we did. Also the wifi does not work in the room.
If I could give a zero I would! Beware of this hotel! It is definitely not what it looks like. It is in a semi ghetto-looking area and it is very dirty. We even witnessed a robbery outside and a bunch of men went after the perpetrator with a bat! As far as inside the room, it looks like a pay by the hour place that you see on tv. furthermore, the hotel locks the doors and you have to knock to be let in. That should tell you a lot! The beds are very uncomfortable and very hard and the pillows I feel like paper! Thankfully, this was for a few hours before we left to Greece. Then the staff where a bunch of liars! We were lied to about the shuttle service to the airport! It is basically nonexistent! Apparently the car that thy use as a shuttle only holds three passengers. Plus it does not include breakfast they lie to you saying that they will hold a breakfast box for you but when it comes down to it it is never ready! Plus they also monitor their air conditioner and we were forced to sleep in 85° weather room. I tried to put the air conditioner down and it lies saying that it is going down but when I called downstairs at the front desk lady told me that they controlled as they cannot go down to 20° this was a bold face lie considering that my parents in an adjacent room and their air conditioner went all the way down to 16°C while we were sleeping in 24.8°C and that's because they "lowered" it. The maintenance man that came to supposedly look at it told me that there's nothing he can do and then I should just sleep sitting down on the chair. Really? How rude and disrespectful! You have officially been warned! If you made reservations you should consider changing them! Also Wi-Fi is not included in any of the rooms and you have to sit on these raggedy chairs downstairs that look like they found them in the local dumpster. When I returned to the hotel for my second night after my trip we were given the same room and guess what the floors were still as dirty as the first time! They do not clean! It's disgusting!
Very nice hotels, large rooms, wonderful breakfast with Cornetti just across the airport in Neaple. Absolutely affordable! The surroundings aren't very friendly but for a night close to the airport is the perfect solution
We have decided to stay somewhere close to the airport on our last night, somewhere we could relax and catch up on our emails before work. Well for starters wifi was not working in our room even despite being advertised as free wifi zone. Shower was not working properly. Dinner was very average although menu was looking quite sophisticated. On a positive side: the room was clean, and there is a cosy courtyard to have drink in. Nonetheless would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
Second time we have stayed here overnight after arriving on a late flight from London, before setting off for Amalfi Coast the next day. Very good value, clean, comfortable and efficient with a good breakfast. Book your taxi for your onward journey online before you set off on your trip, rather than using one booked by the hotel.
If you are looking for good hotel out of the city centre for good price, than you should chooses this one. with a bus (no tram service during our staying) you are in the centre withing 30 minutes. Everyone was nice there, the staff is very helpful. The only minus was that there was no wifi available in our hotel room
When looking for a hotel the night before a very early flight we decided on Le Cheminée. There aren't hotels right at the airport like in a lot of cities and the area close to the Naples airport isn't the best so finding a hotel that works for you is important. Le cheminee has a nice lobby, bar, restaurant and courtyard. You also have to be buzzed into the front door, which I liked considering the area doesn't look great. With the restaurant onsite you don't have to leave till you catch your cab for a short ride to the airport (17 euros). They also have breakfast but our flight was at 6:30am so we weren't able to partake. Something to take away would be good to have since so many had early flights. The beds are a little hard but good enough for one night. Shower door openings are small so if you were a big person you may not fit but otherwise the shower was fine. The staff is very friendly and the room and restaurant cost is very reasonable. I would stay here again.
We wanted a hotel to stay for one-night close to the airport due to an early flight. It met that need, but the neighborhood doesn't seem that great. The room was OK, but the bathroom shower was so small that my husband could barely fit in it! We ate dinner in the hotel restaurant which was good enough. Breakfast was OK although there was a tour group there who didn't get the normal breakfast, so the buffet was minimal and you had to ask for additional food that was supposed to be included. All in all, it was barely OK. I wouldn't stay there again.
