Lovely hotel and extremely friendly staff . Would definitely use again. Tea and coffee in room would be nice , but overall very well appointed. Just one thing though, restaurant recommendation was not good at all . Stick to Trip Advisor!
We stayed here at end of our month long European trip. A/C was being rebuilt in our part of the building so we needed to keep the windows open all night. Mosquitoes became a problem. Rooftop view of Mt. Vesuvius is blocked by ugly building a short distance away, would choose another hotel next visit.
very nice hotel, great location. the room was very clean, modern design, comfortable bad. staff was very nice and welcoming. we left early in the morning therefore didn't stay for breakfast. parking is available but expensive.
On arrival the entrance and reception area are disappointing, the rest of the hotel is very attractive..... Staff are very polite an efficient....one aggravating experience ....went to the restaurant for lunch to be told by the manager it would just be a few minutes...nearly 3/4 of an hour later we left....walking past him,he was totally disinterested....needless to say we did not have lunch there again. The room was very comfortable,a great stay.....we would certainly recommend it,and we hope to return there one day.
As the heading says- the hotel gives good vakue for money in a good position to access the sights in Naples. Lobby is laid out a bit strange with the seating area tucked away behind the lifts and up some stairs, so a bit cold and uninviting and thus always empty. It was also undergoing work at the time we were there. Our room had an oversized bed 2m wide by 2.1 m long which generally isnt a bad thing, but in this case the room was to small, so could barely get around the enourmous bed. Bathroom was large and had a walk in shower, which was a pleasure. We had a balcony to the road on the 6th floor. No real view. On the whole a good hotel for us, as we were out all day and only needed a place to crash at night.
We stayed here for 4 days and had a great time! The location is great, toledo metro station is only a few steps away and everywhere else is reachable by foot if you enjoy a walk. The breakfast was lovely, could do with a bit more choice but the service was always excellent and the bar in the evening is nice and relaxing to wind down. The rooms are nice, it is currently being renovated but at no point during our stay did we get disturbed by the works. We would definitely stay here again when we return to Naples!
I was in Napoli on business recently and was fortunate enough to be able to stay there the weekend before my meetings. After consulting with the local company I selected the Oriente. Glad I did. The staff was very friendly, efficient, and welcoming which was most appreciated after a long day of travel from Northern Europe. There was someone at the front desk who was fluent in English and I suspect other languages as well. Directions and recommendations were very easy to come by. And the resturants that were recommended were special, locals only ones. The room was spacious with a very comfortable and large bed. I slept 12 solid hours the first night. Bathroom was also large with ample hot water at good pressure. Every thing was spotless throughout my stay. Breakfast was served on the top floor (9th) with great views to admire the city and gulf. Great selection of breads, pastries including “Italian cheesecake” just like my wife’s Nana made. The espresso was perfect. Also, there was at least one person there who spoke English. The bar is also on that floor with excellent selections of liquor, beers, and wine. A tray of nuts and crisps appears with any beverage selection. Again, service was impeccable. The Oriente’s location is very good. A 10 minute walk gets you to very high end shopping in one direction and the fantastic archeological museum in the other. There is a metro stop less than 100 meters away. I will return here when next in Napoli for business or holiday.
Location, suite, staff, breakfast all the best!! book a suite here and you will not be sorry. Breakfast room, bar and balcony overlooking the water and city. Spectacular! staff couldn't have been more helpful!
a modern hotel, rooms have a standard fully satisfactory for its class, good bed, large bathroom comfortable,, shower not particularly large but sufficient, water flow abundant breakfast at the scenic 9t floor overall, modern building, spotless clean good wireless..... I would come again, I did like it
Good and very helpful staff all around. Central location with a metro station very close by which makes the commute to /from railway station easy. Street on which hotel was located has many eateries / supermarket. Breakfast spread was good. View from 9th floor breakfast area was great. Room was big albeit a bit dated. Shower area flooring was cracked. on an overall, the room could use a bit of overhauling as, perhaps, was being undertaken in the reception area.
