Location, suite, staff, breakfast all the best!! book a suite here and you will not be sorry. Breakfast room, bar and balcony overlooking the water and city. Spectacular! staff couldn't have been more helpful!

a modern hotel, rooms have a standard fully satisfactory for its class, good bed, large bathroom comfortable,, shower not particularly large but sufficient, water flow abundant breakfast at the scenic 9t floor overall, modern building, spotless clean good wireless..... I would come again, I did like it

Good and very helpful staff all around. Central location with a metro station very close by which makes the commute to /from railway station easy. Street on which hotel was located has many eateries / supermarket. Breakfast spread was good. View from 9th floor breakfast area was great. Room was big albeit a bit dated. Shower area flooring was cracked. on an overall, the room could use a bit of overhauling as, perhaps, was being undertaken in the reception area.

Very friendly staff, nice and modern rooms. A good location in Naples near many attractions. The next time I stay here again. The breakfast included everything I needed in the morning - a Cappuccino and a smile.

I’d planned to stay at the Renaissance on a return trip to Naples, but they were full, so I chose the Oriente because it was close by and I expected it to be on a par. I wasn’t especially impressed overall, and not just because the price of the first night of my two night stay was ludicrously expensive. First impressions weren’t great. They’re having work done in the lobby, so it’s virtually non-existent. It feels like you’re entering though some back door. Staff were quite surly and difficult to engage with. My room wasn’t ready, so I left my bags and went out. When I returned, there were different staff on the front desk and the guy who checked me in was far more “with it” although the two helpful things he did for didn’t quite work out: - I wanted a gym but he sent me to one which didn’t allow casual visitors - He offered to add breakfast to my room rate (probably because it was so expensive for the first night!), but it wasn’t recorded. The first morning was fine (no one even bothered to ask for my room number), but on the second morning I had an ongoing argument with a waitress who checked with the front desk and was adamant that I had to pay. I steadfastly refused, but it was quite embarrassing, and left me with a sour taste in my mouth. No mention was made of it at check out, which surprised me a little. The rooftop bar was nice for a drink around sunset, although I was pretty much the only person around on each visit.

Its not really 4 star, 3 at best. Rooms are ok, but a little small. Reception is dated. Staff hit and miss. Some amazing some dreadful. View from roof top is ok but not breathtaking. Had breakfast once there, but we preferred the cafe next door, they had better coffee and croissants. The area is very lively. Check out the bars near the monastery and the shrikra bar. Its a very different area to the coast but we preferred it.

....you get what you pay for. ...noisy rooms...the bar on the top floor has some amazing views over Naples...the views are worth it to put up with the bar staff..not very friendly. Hotel is in a good location close to the old town....the breakfast was ok....

I took my boyfriend here for his 30th birthday and what a fantastic decision that was! The hotel is very central, right between the harbor and main street, and has a metro station at the end of the road. The breakfast food was delicious, it was lovely having breakfast on the terrace. And even better sitting up on the terrace in the evening having a few drinks from the bar after a day of exploring. The staff were lovely and so very helpful with directions, and making calls to the excursions I had booked before traveling to confirm booking - these were equally fantastic (see my other reviews for Naples). They even surprised us with some sparkling wine and local delicacies on my boyfriends birthday. Would highly recommend!

An excellent hotel with a wonderful rooftop terrace enjoying beautiful views of the city and surrounding area. The hotel is very close to the Metro and the bay, as well as the main shopping area. Our rooms were comfortable and quiet and the staff were extremely helpful. My only criticism would be the lack of a kettle in the rooms, although a pot of hot water was delivered free of charge whenever requested.

Stayed here 15th - 27th September 2017, At first glance this hotel looks ok, but it does'nt take long to see its not! We stayed in a triple room on the 7th floor. The carpets on the 7th floor hallway are disgusting, dirty and very stained. Unfortunately the carpets in the room were just as bad. The room itself overlooked the rear of the hotel, a courtyard of residential properties, not attractive at all. The two windows in the room had shutters pulled down which proved to be very difficult and noisy to open, and they were'nt the only noisy thing! The batroom door had a very loud and annoying squeal every time it was opened or closed. The bathroom had all the usual faults, a damaged shower tray, a leaky shower cubicle and the overall finish was dissapointing. By UK and Ireland standards this is NOT a 4 star hotel, 2 stars would be more fitting. The room is definately not worth €230.00 per night. However, I was willing to overlook all of these faults, then on day 7 of a 12 night stay the keycard to our room was deactivated, no real problem they simply reactivated it, they the same thing again on day 8 and it was at this time when I asked for it to be reactivated that I was asked to settle my bill, I had not used the restaurant or bar and had not used anything from the minibar so it was just the room rate they were looking for. Now I have stayed in a lot of hotels across Europe and Africa and have never been asked to settle a bill halfway through a 12 night stay, their excuse was that they do their accounting every 7 days, hard to believe. So I offered to pay by card or cash and allowed them to make the choice and of course they chose cash, while paying I let the receptionist know that I was not happy and if I had been informed on my initial enquiry to the hotel that this was their policy I would not have chosen to stay there and that it made me think they did not trust me to pay my bill at checkout as normal, maybe they thought I would shinny down the drain pipe and dissapear into the night??? A short time laterI was on my way to dinner when the receptionist chased me along the street, a very crowded street, to discuss my issues. Thats not a very 4 star thing to do, is it?? Needless to say, but on my return to Naples in 2018 I will NOT be staying at this hotel and I would strongly advise everyone to think twice before booking here.
