Great hotel with excellent service. I would come back again.

We enjoyed the hotel and will be back. The staff is great, food is top notch, and amenities make the stay well worth the price.

We spent a long weekend at the beach and enjoyed every minute. Our room was very comfortable, the staff exceptionally friendly and helpful, and the meals were good too. We would definitely recommend this hotel to any one looking for a fabulous beach and great location between Naples and Vanderbilt Beach.

Got the gulf view suite on the fifth floor in the main tower. A little disappointed in the view of the gulf from the balcony, it was more like a view of the roof top of the other suites and parking lot. Layout of the suite was nice though and everything was clean. My fiancée and I ate lunch at the resort restaurant, food was overpriced and mediocre, two sandwiches and two beers cost us $77.00. Probably wouldn't stay at the Edgewater again unless I get a really good rate on one of the beachfront suites.

The hotel was paradise. First Class accomodations.

We have been staying at the Edgewater annually for almost 10 years. We really do love the hotel. Unfortunately, the service and value have dropped. Earlier in 2014, they were acquired by a new owner and the prices went up without a commensurate uptick in service, value, etc. They advertise a sleeper sofa and rooms equipped for 4 guests and we arrived to find only a king bed for 4 people. We asked for a cot and it was not delivered to the room. Housekeeping was erratic and often was not completed by late in the day and incomplete as well (no towels, dirty floor, etc). They now charge a higher price for the ground floor rooms as well. We are loyal customers and really do implore the new owners to have the hotel upgrade to match the new prices. it has become very expensive for families. As far as the pros, some of the staff have been there for years and are really special people. The location cannot be beat. The grounds are well kept and maintained.

I always expend summer with my family there. But this year the experience was different. We were 4 people, and they only offered me a king size bed with 2 rolling beds. The rolling bed were in the middle of the living area, it was very uncomfortable. The building is dirty and old. You need to pay for everything, 25 $ fee daily and $ 20 for the umbrella daily. The hotel is very expensive, it should be included on the price.

Hotel location is great, The Lobby & the Pools are facing the beach & there is a pool bar all very clean and pleasant . Staff is friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and simple the in-room single cup coffee maker is a nice touch. My husband and I would stay there again.

Perfect location for our short family vacation. The A/C did not work the first night but the manager gave us a room credit.

From the moment we drove up to this hotel to the (sadly) moment we had to leave, this place is just the best! Nothing like being greeted at the front desk with a flute of champagne! The view is unreal and is away from the beach crowds and the entire place has been renovated, clean, gorgeous and very easy access to everything downtown Naples has to offer. We upgraded our room to an ocean front suite and it was worth every penny for sure. We definitely would rate this as a 5 star for sure and will definitely be back.

UPON ARRIVAL WE WERE TOLD OUR RESERVATION WAS CANCELD. THE FIRST NIGHT WE STAYED IN A HANDICAP SUITE, THE AC UNIT WAS NOT HEATING THE ROOM DURING THE COLD NIGHT. WE REQUESTED A BETTER ACCOMODATION THE NEXT MORNING,WHICH THEY WERE ABLE TO ARRANGE. THE AC WAS SITUATET IN THE BEDROOM AND VERY NOICY. WE HAD TO TURN IT OFF FOR THE NIGHT TO SLEEP. SINCE THE NIGHTS WERE COLD WE WOULD WAKE UP AROUND 5:00 AM! THE STAFF WAS FRIENDLY BUT MOST OF THE WERE IN TRAINING - VERY NOTICABLE DURING CHECK IN. CLEARLY WE PAID FOR A BETTER EXPERIENCE AND YOU SHOULD REIMBURSE US FOR THE INCONVIENENCE WE EXPERIECED THIS IS NOT A $ 350.00 /NIGHT HOTEL

Excellent for business or pleasure. Very courteous staff, and especially good place for families. Absolutely no complaints. Might try to be a little more lively in the evenings.

I spent a sunny week in this hotel with my daughter (25). It's about the 5th time we have choosen Eddgewater Beach Hotel. We booked a Courtyard/Gulf view 1 Bedrm suite. Positive were as always the excellent support by the callcenter (Ms Culma) for our special needs, the location. This time the cleanliness of the room and the condition of the furniture were disappointing.

The only thing going for this hotel is it is on the beach and the staff is nice. As soon a we opened the door to our room the smell over took us. It was nasty, smelling of mold and mildew. The furnishings and carpet were very old and should have been replaced years ago.. We ended up only staying only one night. I wish we would have heeded the warnings from other reviewers, but we thought it couldn't be that bad. Well it was. Save your money and stay elsewhere.

We had a great week at this hotel. Everything was clean, the beach is great, and the service is better than most.
