We stayed 2 nights at Halcyon. We loved our cabin, loved the pools, loved the food at the restaurant, and the coffee was on point too! Our critique is that our cabin didn’t have a kitchenette and we were 30 mins from town. The coffee shop had some breakfast option but closed at 2. Meanwhile the restaurant was great for dinner, didn’t open until 3. It would be nice to have a fuller service breakfast and lunch situation on site.

Easy to fix

The facility is definitely amazing!, but the staff is definitely banking on that to provide a mediocre to poor service, especially at the restaurant not so much the waitress but the food was extremely disappointing, area for improvement !, front desk the person that helped us can definitely be more friendly and welcoming , the pool should be open earlier than 11:00 am!,considering is one of the few thing's to do over there. $465 per night is a high rate anywhere in the world!.

A group of 5 of us girls went to celebrate our friends 40th birthday. It was so beautiful and the chateau was wonderful- clean and quiet and close to the lake and hotsprings. We went to the natural hotsprings as well and those were great. It was a memorable trip and I would go again and again!

This property is nestled in nature ideal to detox from civilization. The restaurant is limited in service: opens from 3pm to 5pm for small bites and 5 pm to 730pm for dinner. Our cabin 6 was clean, comfortable, and modern. The bathroom is equivalent to a spa. The hot springs are amazing with hot and warm water in different pools and a massive cold water pool on the lower deck. We had nature walks in the morning and evenings where we found water cascades that were true gems. We feel reinvigorated in mind, soul, and body.

We had a wonderful 3 night stay. The grounds are gorgeous and the views overlooking the lake from the pools were breathtaking. We paddle boarded and the lake was freezing but it was super hot so a quick dunk was refreshing. We soaked in the pools til 10pm which were amazing! We loved the food at the onsite restaurant Chanterelle (must try Calamari, Seared Tuna, Mushroom Tagliatelle and we had steak special all outstanding) and the views by the window are gorgeous! We also drove into the town of Nakusp which is great to walk around and explore get cappuccino’s and breakfast and walked around the farmers market open on Saturdays. We loved the whole 3 days. My cousin went to the spa for massage and facial cupping and loved it. We hope to be back one day.
