I could write about the spacious, clean and comfortable room; the good location or the great food at both Pablo’s and the terrace. But what really makes this hotel great is the staff. I stay in many hotels but Four Points is where I always feel the most welcome. From the moment you are picked up at the airport, when go through security, as you check in, at the restaurants, with the housekeeping and even at the gym: every single staff member is friendly, professional and goes out of their way to see through your every needs. This is a place where everybody knows your name. Because of this Four Points will always be my first choice, in Nairobi.

A very comfortable hotel with excellent rooms and service. The staff were always smiling and ready to help with every query. The food in the restaurants was delicious and resonably priced, with local foods and drinks adding to our first experience of Kenya. We only had one full day in Nairobi, we planned to visit the museum and the Maasai markets, so, not knowing that they had cars and drivers that could be hired, we asked consierge to call us a taxi. He didn't call a taxi, but quietly assertained just what we wanted to do and arrange a car and driver. For $US60 we had a driver for most of the day and what a good day that was. Erastus chatted as we drove through Nairobi traffic, scoped out our interests, and completely changed our plans - for the better I might add. He had an encyclopaedic knowlege of Kenya and Nairobi and made the whole day fascinating - baby elephants, giraffes, storks nesting (who knew?), shopping without crwods and finally the museum.

A spontaneous night out for a coffee / dinner at the four points Hurlingham was a delightful experience. I was most impressed by their restaurant on the top floor called "Mezze on the deck", they have a wide variety of food and drinks! I was impressed by the quality of their food; the views from the roof top of Nairobi are amazing! Overall, a fantastic experience and the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming!

I stayed here for one week while working in the area. The location is good if you are active in the Adams/Hurlingham area. At 10:30am, it only took about 40 minutes fro the airport. The rooms are generally very well appointed, but please avoid any rooms on the 6th floor as the lounge is located on the 7th and there is noise until 2:30am. The restaurants are both very good, but I found Pablo's to be much better than Mezze. The 8th floor lounge is fun, but be prepared to get stared at by some local women looking for action. Overall, the hotel staff was excellent and accommodated by request for room changes. We were with.a large group and everyone was happy with the hotel. Finally, security is very good and a police station is just down the road.

Stayed in the Four Points for eight nights in July and it was perfect. Staff were always on hand, very welcoming, helpful and polite. Location was good and the hotel felt very safe and secure. My room was spacious and comfortable. Choice of restaurants was good, particularly liked the rooftop Lebanese restaurant. Overall I definitely recommend this place and the amazing staff were the highlight for me.

Safe and secure location If you want to stay in decent area in Nairobi you’re looking at around $100 minimum per night. There is security that is consistent and robust but it’s in an area where we walked to the local mall no problem. We ate downstairs in the Italian which was ok. The breakfast was good. The roof terrace is excellent and the food is the best up here. Service throughout the hotel was excellent with everyone being really helpful. For any excursions to giraffe centre / david Sheldrick etc I would recommend Uber as the prices were extremely low.

We stayed at Four Points Nairobi (1 night) on our way to safari, it was comfortable and convenient. This hotel is about 20 km West (W-NW) of JKIA the international airport. As I mentioned in another post we took a taxi (nairobiairporttransfers.com) from the airport to here, took about 40 minutes, cost $25, we paid in US dollars to the driver when we got to the hotel. This was our first time in Nairobi so we were not sure what to expect. The front desk had our reservation in their computer (incl. my Marriott number) and they had our room ready. The check in process was just like at any other US Marriott. The front desk guy or concierge explained the features of the hotel and took us to our rooms and explained the features of the room. Tap water is not drinkable - same as everywhere in Kenya - but sealed bottled water is always available. The staff made it a point to tell us, foreigners, to use only bottled water for brushing or gargling. We had sort of expected this when we prepared for our trip, nonetheless it is a helpful reminder from the staff. The room was just as shown in the Traveler photos. It has international power sockets (240V) and USB in some rooms. We saw the pool and rooftop lounge, all very nice. The hotel has a very helpful feature - the hotel taxi. This vehicle (and driver) can take you to a nearby spot for, say, lunch (1 hour wait included) and bring you back to the hotel for a nominal fee, posted to your account. (For us it was Ksh 400, about US $4.) We used this a lot. For example we went to the nearby Yaya centre mall (about 0.6 km away) where we got Safaricom SIM cards and to the excellent Grand Cafe for lunch and dinner. Nairobi does have Uber but we found the hotel taxi about the same or cheaper. The hotel staff / concierge is quite helpful about all nearby spots or even safari related questions. In case you are wondering, everybody in Kenya speaks fluent English so language is never a problem. There is also a Safeway (supermarket) not far from the hotel where we picked up mosquito cream and bug spray etc. The supermarket only accepts local currency; the hotel readily exchanges US/EU for Kenyan Shillings (about 100 Ksh to 1 US dollar.) Our reservation included breakfast. This is a very nice buffett in the restaurant. Eggs and waffles cooked to order, lots of fresh juices and fresh fruit, local cheeses etc. The staff at breakfast are polite and cheerful. Our stay was comfortable. We achieved our goal - to get prepared (SIM cards, bug spray etc) and get a good night's sleep and breakfast before safari. Thanks to the hotel staff for attending to our needs (and info. requests) promptly.

I was very happy with my stay. The staff were courteous, professional and very welcoming. I would like to send a special thanks to Mary whose incredible memory made our stay so comfortable - it was like being with family. The conference facilities were good and the service excellent. A beautiful hotel in a lovely and calm area.

We have been at this Four Points by Sheraton 5 times now. Every time we are greeted like old friends, the team members are frequently the same(low turn over!) And many times we receive an upgrade. Kenningtone at Concierge is addressing every request graciously and promptly. I hope he stays forever(please!) Eujay is the Manager of the front desk and she is the BEST. I haven't met someone with that attention to detail, knowledgable and kind! Also the security manager, he stays in the background, I don't even know his name, yet I feel totally looked after knowing he is in charge. Last but not least, Pilgraham and Erastus, two drivers of this excellent hotel. I would love to have them drive me everywhere, except of course, they work at the hotel. Once our flight was delayed 2 1/2 hours and Pilgraham was so kind and circumspect, I actually enjoyed myself instantly, despite it being after midnight before we finally arrived! In all, a home away from home. Thank you very much!

We had a long day to wait for our flight so we stayed at the Sheraton at the airport. What a nice place with pool, spa, two restaurants and shuttle to the terminal. The room was beautiful and the food was reasonably priced and very good. Our shuttle driver even helped us get our luggage on a cart and to the security check. Wonderful service!
