House and neighborhood too noisy and more
The 2 BR is very spacious and from a quick browsing through the house, it is beautiful. However, there were a number of things that were not in order. These were:1) Broken window locksThe lock for one bedroom window was broken. The bathroom windows locks were broken too and were supported with a socket plug. Since the windows could not close mosquitoes found their way into the house. A mosquito repellant was available2) A very noisy pub or bar in the neighborhoodIn the neighborhood is a bar or pub which was open for the whole night until 6 am, Because the bathroom windows and one bedroom window could not close/lock, the nights were very noisy. 3) The coffee maker was faultyThe coffee maker was not functional. We informed the owner and all what she told us was that the coffee maker will be bought at the end of the month. We had to find an alternative to brew our own coffee. 4) Broken toilet paper holderIn one bathroom the toilet paper holder was broken. The toilet paper was place on top of the toilet trash can. 5) Caretaker accessed the house without noticeThe caretaker came to bring in the dinning table when were were absent. We felt like our privacy was breached The owner apologized to us.6) Day 1 scareIn the wee hours of the 1st night, we were woken up by a loud bang on our door. There is no emergency number to call. We informed the owner about it and she explained that the scenario to us.
