Super close to Nagoya Station, from which you can go straight to the airport. It’s facing a busy street so you can hear some noise from outside if your room faces it. The basin smelled a bit like mould but everything else was fine.

Comfortable and clean for our family trip

The location was fairly convenient. The Nagoya station was a 10 minute walk away, while the nearest underground shopping street entrance with access to the station was merely 5 minutes away. There were plenty of dining options in the area. The room had enough space for us to lay suitcases flat, and it was pretty clean and comfortable. Our room faced the elevated road outside. Occasionally we could hear traffic, but it did not bother us. We stayed for 3 nights. The breakfast buffet offered a decent selection of Japanese and western food, but the choices were the same every day. We wished there were rotations of different dishes. There was no self-serve laundry in the hotel, but there were coin laundry shops within 12 minute walk. Overall, we were satisfied with the stay.

Friendly staffs, clean, donki just at the back of the hotel. Walking distance to everywhere. 10 mins walk to the main shoping malls. Very close to the station.

We spent 3 nights here and were happy with the hotel. Close to Nagoya train station which made it easy to get to everywhere we needed to go. Lots of dining options and convenience stores in the area. Our room was very nice. The hotel is much nicer than the pictures that are shown on Expedia. My only complaining is that the onsite restaurant is quite expensive, but there are plenty of options around.

My family and I stayed at The ibis style Nagoya for 2 nights in early July. The check-in was fine. We stayed at a standard room with two twin beds. The room size is good, it is modern and clean. The shower, washroom and sink are separated. There is no space to dry and dress up after the shower. It is 10 10-minute walk from the Nagoya station. There is a Family Mart near the hotel. We use the luggage delivery service to deliver our baggage to Tokyo. The reception staff help us to take care of the reservation, and we just need to leave the baggage at the reception counter before 11 am on the checkout day. Our baggage arrived on the same day at our Tokyo hotel. Stress free! I will recommend this hotel.

One night in Nagoya

Great stay, good facilities and value for money. Breakfast was also excellent and having a bar facility and left luggage option. The location was fairly near the station and good seafood options over the street.

Nagoya 2 week stay

The staff are wonderful. Front desk and restaurant staff were great. I give the facility less than perfect because of one issue. We booked a 2 week trip. Reason why we picked this hotel was because it said that there was laundry. That was misleading. There is no self serve laundry. You can pay for laundry but because we booked a 2 week stay we had to find a laundromat and go there to do our laundry for a family of 4. Generally speaking when a hotel advertises laundry facilities then it should provide laundry for self use. Based on that alone, it doesn’t get a stellar rating. We wouldn’t stay again because of that. One other issue was that the restaurant was closed on many evenings due to “private” events. We did eat one night but there were a couple of days when we really didn’t want to go out but it was closed.
