This hotel is pretty good in terms of value. Good wifi, close to transport, nice staff, good AC and comfy beds. One thing I'll never understand about Japanese hotels is their ridiculous prices for breakfast. $15 per person for a buffet? I for one can't stomach paying that when all I'd probably have is some fruit and yogurt. Good thing there's a Lawson's right around the corner for all your breakfast needs. Other than that, it's a solid choice.
Hotel is fine. Rooms are small like the majority in Japan. Location is very good (walking distance +-7min to more than one metro station). Near Sakae Main Street. I didn't like their police though: I arrived there 12:50 and requested to check in earlier if the room was available (I had a 27hours flight plus a train to get there. They said it wasn't, but when I insisted for one room available they said that my room in fact was ready but I was supposed to pay $20 (20.000JPY) to enter the room 1 hour earlier than the check in time (14:00). Is it reasonable? What is the extra cost a hotel will have if the room is ready? I simply do not accept this kind of action form a Hotel. If it was a later check out is understandable, but a 1 hour earlier check in is not. Unfortunately, since I wanted so much to shower that I decided to pay.
We stayed 1 night in a triple room at this hotel but unluckily, we had a very bad experience with this hotel!! the bathroom flooded after my son had a bath!!!!! We called the receptionist for help and then a handyman came up very quickly. Spent awhile fixing the problem!!!! It was already late night but we couldn't take a quick shower then rest, poor us!! So...we wouldn't stay here again!!!!
Be fair to say, 12K Yen for a room for 3 pax in down town area is very reasonable. Subway station and shopping area is about ten minutes walk. The cleanliness of room is just acceptable. We were arriving by car, however the hotel's multi storey carpark only accommodates small size car below 1.5 mitre in height. We had to park our car in another carpark about 3 minutes drive distance.
I stayed for 1 night. I got a cigarettes smell and very dusty rooms. Seems like they never vacuum the carpets properly. It is very feasible of dust behind the door, under the bed and the ventilators. Since I am allergic to dust, I asked the room to be vacuumed. The receptionist lady help me to change to a non-smoking room, she let me choose the rooms and she also helped me to vacuum the rooms. All the rooms have similar pattern of dust. If I have to visit Nagoya again I will choose to stay in different hotel.
It's a 700 meters walking distance from the Sakae station, but if you prefer to take from Shin-Sakaemachi Station it would be only 500 meters away. Convenience stores next door. The hotel is neat, clean, room is quite big for 2 person. Nice view from the window to the intersection and some fly over road. Try to wake up at middle of nite and capture of the empty street, very calming. It's so different to its hustle bustle on afternoon traffic. Take free amenities near the front office on ground floor, spacious lobby too and a laundry coin facilities in 5/6 floor if i'm not mistaken. Overall it's a nice experience staying at this hotel.
Hv to take a train from Nagoya station then walk around 15 mins but at that time good weather so we can walk even far :) , value for money if you dont mind for walk 👍🏻 Room quite width for 2 persons 👍🏻
Have all you just need for an overnight stay. Convenient location and within a short walk you can see plenty of restaurant at various price range. Basic and clean and get no surprise on the average room size.
We booked quite late so the room choice was minimal. We had 2 standard doubles which are clean and tidy but very cramped. There was no wardrobe which was a bit of a pain given we were in Nagoya for a fortnight which included a wedding so ironing was a daily chore. The service at the hotel was excellent and cannot be faulted. There are plenty of vending machines selling hot and cold drinks as well as 2 laundry rooms with dryers. The hotel is very clean and even if you leave the do not disturb sign on your door the staff will leave fresh towels, toilet roll, etc outside your door. One word of warning, the hotel is situated on a very busy junction next to the express way so do not expect peace and quite. Nagoya is a 24/7 city and the traffic is constant albeit less busy at night. If you sleep with the window open and you are a light sleeper this hotel is probably not for you.
This is a modern business hotel in a very busy part of Nagoya. The location is convenient for Sakae subway station situated close by.If you are in a standard twin room be prepared to literally live out of your suitcase because there is no space to even open it, except on the bed, also there is no closet. Another downside is not having control of the room temperature, only low, medium or high and no way to decide on whether you want AC or heat. There is a restaurant on the ground floor, breakfast is a bit pricy, 1600 yen or 1100 yen in advance. Overall if you're not planning on spending a lot of time in your room you will find everything you need at a reasonable price.
