Stayed in the hotel for two nights with family. Overall speaking, a solid hotel that lives up to IHG quality which has always been consistent. Plus + Convenient location. Right next to Kanayama station, which easilty goes to main areas in (near) Nagoya by train or subway e.g. Nagoya Station, Sakae, Centair airport, Nagoya Castle etc. As Kanayama is a main shopping area, diners and shops are within walking distance (although much less choices compared to Sakae or Nagoya Station). Atsuta Shrine is two subway stations away which takes less than 30 mins of walk + Great guestroom with view. Spacious guestroom for my family of two adults and two kids. As it is the tallest building in the area, the room enjoys fantastic city view of Nagoya. + IHG reward nights. I redeemed my points for the stay which is of great value. The hotel staff were of great help via email when I booked the stay. + Efficient and professional services. Check-in and out were very easy and efficient and staff were English speaking. Minus - Train noise. It did not bother me much but I do hear it from time to time because it is literally at the doorstep. The other side of the building should be free from the noise. I would recommend it to those who want international hotel experience in Nagoya and want to live in a well-connected area but less busy than city centre.

Second time to this hotel whilst on business. Excellent friendly service, good breakfast and well located 2mins from Kanayama station. All rooms with aircon. 25mins to Kanayama from Chubu airport on express train. Good complex around the station with multiple food options if you want to explore outside the hotel. AEON mall 5mins walk for shopping. Note the sky bar prices are expensive, although the views are good!

The views from the room were amazing!! it was close to the train station which made getting around super easy. Also the size of the room was pretty great!! but the restaurants in the hotel was super expensive, but it was a 5 star hotel. Overall a great stay in a great hotel!!

Have stayed here several times over the last few years. Always clean, always friendly. Good bar at the top. Good restaurant (recently refurbished) for a large selection of Japanese and Western meals. Good breakfast. Inexpensive hotel. Close to the rail station, and a taxi ride from the city centre. Recommended.

We stayed 4 days in this hotel。 Room is very comfortable and very nice view。 Hotel team have fast response to handle our request。 It is very close to train station be convenient for sightseeing and shopping。

Rooms are adequate and beds are good, air condition works well. The bathrooms are small - like a cruise ship. Staff is polite and helpful. The lobby isn't too nice - could do with some sprucing up. No bell man or personnel to help with bags. The front desk has to call a taxi for you - you won't find them outside the hotel. Location isn't in the most glamorous part of town. The station area is more modern. If you exit the hotel and turn left you can walk to a shopping center - restaurants that are quite inexpensive by Japanese standards. One fault - they give one bottle of water per room for a priority club member upon check in. How much is a bottle of water anyway? Why not just have one for each guest in the room? The Marriott has a better location and rooms but is more expensive.

This is a great place to stay! The rooms are large for Japan and the staff are all extremely friendly. The baths are typical Japanese ones that are nice and deep! Shower first and then fill the bath using their bath powder and sit back and relax! If you want to listen to CNN or BBC while in the bath, turn on the TV and the speaker is in the bathroom! I didn't have the breakfast for an additional ¥2,600, but it does look good! If you want to have a great view of Nagoya at night, go to the bar on the top floor. Your first drinks are half price if you are staying at the hotel. Have one of the Japanese whiskeys, as they are winning awards around the world, and the round ice cube is great! Be prepared for smoking up there though. The beds are comfortable and you can also borrow phone charging cords from the front desk. We payed ¥25,000 for the night, which is not bad for Japan, and it was a non-smoking room. If you are going to travel around Nagoya after checking out, there is also a place to leave your luggage at no additional cost. All in all, this is a great place!

Staying here for one night, thank you Masae san for providing me special rate! This hotel is placed just at the exit of Kanayama station which give you access to anywhere in Nagoya using JR Line or Subway: short stop to JR Nagoya station, Sakae, Nagoya Port Public Aquarium and of course express train to Chubu International Airport. if you don't really like crowded place like Nagoya Station or Sakae then this hotel will suite you. Don't worry because some convenience store and Starbuck are surrounding the hotel, many local restaurant and 1.5km walk to Aeon Mall. Very surprised with the spacious room, large bed and lot of in room amenities. Don't have time to try the hotel restaurant. The Front can also order you special food, i got this information when i have dinner in Bulan Bali Restaurant (Indonesian Halal food) near Sakae. the owner said you can ask the front to order Halal food and usually they will call us to deliver. Nice room view (i uploaded a photo) No wonder this hotel are one of Top 5 hotel in Nagoya!

My family and I stayed at the ANA Crowne Plaza Hotel Grand Court Nagoya. It's about a five minute walk from Kanayama station, which is Nagoya's second major center. There i a lot of great places to eat within walking distance. The hotel staff and accommodations were great and although a bit pricy, breakfast was outstanding. It satisfied my entire family's pallet. The room was comfortable for hotels in Japan. The room had all necessities along with a view of Nagoya. We couldn't ask for any more. I will certainly stay at this hotel the next visit to Nagoya.

If you must stay in the center of Nagoya, JR Nagoya station and its surrounding, then you will not like this location. However, it's only a short stop away by JR train if you don't mind the travel (in Kanayama). The hotel's is located right next to Kanayama station and it's such a breeze to travel from and back to Chubu airport (when compared with other larger cities in Japan). There's a couple of Starbucks around the hotel, and many restaurants aroudn the vicinity as well. AEON supermarket is about 10 mins walk away from the hotel, passing the railway station. Lots of stores around the area too, so one don't really need to go into the city if you just wanted a feel of Japan while staying there. There's also a convenience store opposite the hotel. The room is very well appointed and spacious (in Japanese standards). In fact, I think this hotel has the largest room compared to all my travels in Japan :), and yet not at top end prices. Housekeeping does a great job in daily service and all of the staff were very pleasant throughout my encounter. Breakfast was also very good, with an array of variety to suit local and western travelers. I will definitely choose this hotel again the next time I visit Nagoya. There's also a comtemporary museum located right next to the hotel, missed that this time.
