I didn't like anything, beginning with the lady who checked me in who was VERY unpleasant. The room was 'clean', but it smelled like an old musty motel room, especially after I got the temperature down to a reasonable level (by turning on the heater in the middle of June) the thermostat on the A/C did not work, the room was literally freezing when I stepped in. Even the "fan" mode blew freezing air. The only option was to use the heater. All night long. The thermostat DID work on the heater. And when I went to bed I was greeted by some kind of green bug UNDER THE COVERS. This has been the WORST motel experience in 40 years of travelling.

Location was convenient to get to, staff was helpful and breakfast was delicious!

Knowledgeable staff, check in very efficient and room very nice and clean and newly renovated.

Nice hotel and good staff, nice environment overall good stay

The price to begin is great! The rooms are ok , could use new equipment, the ironing board and iron look very old. They have remolded the rooms, taking off carpet and putting new flooring, the bathroom also looks nice , seems remolded . During my stay they were working on others rooms ,so there was alot of construction material around. The breakfast was disappointing; they had no eggs, no sausages, no variety of breads, like other hotels. But i guess you get what you pay for.

It was conveniently located & the managers were WONDERFUL! Friendly, helpful & just plain ol NICE.

coldest nite of the year and the room was toasty...very comfortable...not a loud heater/blower that keeps u awake...going bak in January to Nacog...rebookt a room there

We needed a convenient and economical place to stay at the last minute related to a medical eval away from home. We have stayed at this hotel in the past and would recommend it again. By no means is this a luxury hotel, but definitely clean and adequate for our needs.

Reasonable price beds were comfortable clean room mini breakfast consists of waffles and cereal

Overall our stay was good. Friendly staff but breakfast would be better. Clean rooms and good WiFi, Will recommend this hotel to friends and family.

Good for what it was. Rooms clean, everything was clean.

Just a place to sleep. If you expect much more go elsewhere.

I only ended up at the Econo Lodge because it was parents day at SFA and all the other rooms in Nacogdoches were taken and I didn't want to stay in Lukin. Won't be back at this Motel.

I went to my son's University for the weekend and this location was easy to find from the school. When reserving my room, smoking room was only one avail, but had hoped staff member would have tried to be more accomidating upon arrival with non-smoking room, didn't feel she made an extra effort. Thought it was a little over priced for what we got. Overall, the room met our needs for the weekend.

The staff was friendly and the room was clean if a little utilitarian.

This has been our 3rd stay and it was, again, consistently good. We get a comfortable bed, in a non-smoking room, no thrills or frills, but we save at least $40 dollars over the other hotels, and when you make a trip each weekend for the soccer season, the savings add up!

This was our second time here and for the price, it fits our pocket book. The bed was very comfortable, so if you are looking for a decent place to stay, that won't bust your wallet, this is it. Hotel is away from the hustle and bustle of the University, but close enough to get to it all.

It was great nice staff clean pool location is little way from town but it worth the stay

The hotel was nice, clean, comfortable and near our daughters apartment and school. It was a great value. We would definitely stay there again. Hotel was off the loop, so you were not caught in the hustle and bustle around the school, yet close enough to get in it if you wanted to be.

It was not the best econolodge I have stayed in by any means. The staff was friendly and the room was big. I didn't use the pool, but it was a nice size.

Dear Guest, Thank you for leaving us a review regarding your recent stay. We are as you mentions remodeling our rooms currently. We are sorry if some of the material sitting outside was an inconvenience. We would like to apologize to you for not meeting your expectations. We are an economical brand of the Choice Hotels International Group of Hotels. In saying that we proud that we have a better choice of breakfast choices than most economical hotels. We do have sausage biscuits, wheat bread, fruit, hot waffles, fresh fruit, two types of cereal, instant oatmeal, orange juice, and coffee daily for our complimentary continental breakfast. But we will take your suggestions and try to replace or add to our breakfast choices. We take all of our suggestions as room for us to improve. We are hoping that you will not let some of the issues you mentioned deter you from staying with us in the future. Once again, Thank you.
