The dogs were friendly and the grounds were pretty. Getting to the room (I was in a below room) would have been an issue if the weather was bad (rainy) due to long walk on the grass, luckily it was dry and clear when I arrived and departed (it rained during the night). Also, I was glad there was TV in the room that I could connect to my laptop. Breakfast on the veranda (lani) was pleasant in the early morning sunshine. The location was just was I need and will probably look to stay here again the next time I am on the Big Island.

This isn’t a hotel it’s a house and there are not any amenities near this house and the worst thing it’s away from the city it’s a very isolated place so I do not recommend to anyone to go there .

This bed and breakfast is a really beautiful farm house surrounded by the green land of macadamia nut trees. The rooms are comfortable and have their doors opening to the main yard of the house. The property is a couple miles outside of the nearest town, and generally silent. But as this is a farm house, chickens and roosters are living in the property and some may still find their presence noisy. The wide open and rich night sky devoid of any light is one outstanding aspect here.

When we got to our room it smelled horribly of body odor. The smell was so bad I felt like I had to puke. As the night progressed I was feeling more and more sick, we had to go to get medicine. By the time we got back, it was dark. There is no lighting on the sides of the hotel so it made going back really hard and almost dangerous. The bathroom was also shared with the room next door, I was not expecting to have a shared bathroom. The next day I felt better and decided to give the breakfast a try. They were serving eggs, bacon, and bakery items with juice. In the serving that I got, I had about half an egg's shell served with it also. Initially, I had a small crunch but I ignored it until it just got worse and worse. The amount I picked out was equivalent to half and egg. That wasn't even the worse part. The muffin that I was eating was actually molding. The folks were nice but the service and lack of care was disgusting. This is by far, the worst experience I have had staying somewhere. The one positive thing is that the bed was comfortable and it is a place to stay. If there is another option, it would probably be better.
