We came here for our honeymoon. We were on the 14th floor. Rooms were spacious, clean, views great of the ocean and very close walking distance out the back to the ocean. We didn't swim in the pools although they looked clean and clear. The front desk called and checked on us to make sure we didn't need anything. We didn't request house keeping for our 4 days there, although someone took our trash out daily and left clean towels for us. The shampoo and lotions they leave for you was pleasantly good quality and smelled good. The only thing we saw in the room is that the couch was wore, dvd player in bedroom didn't work and parking is a bit tight but we have an SUV and did just fine. The front desk people were friendly and accommodating. We did have to ask a question over the phone upon arrival, the reservation desk. . . Jessica kept talking over my husband when he was talking asking questions. She didn't give him time to reply before she would talk over him. This is the second time I have EVER seen the ocean. The first time was when I was 10 and that was almost 40 years ago. This was a GREAT experience for us!!! We would use Seaside again! Very reasonable rates compared to others in the area.
Love the seaside resort, enjoyed our 2 bedroom condo with oceanfront view. The carpet and furniture is very worn in the room we stayed in and made a suggestion to front desk the owner might need to upgrade in the future. But the stay was quiet, restful and relaxing for my family since we don't do a lot of activities while visiting. Even with hurricane like winds one day there, I felt safe in the building. I love the fact you can rent movies in the front office and they were recent releases. We have stayed at Seaside several times and will continue to frequent this location on our next vacation.
When you stay at Myrtle or North Myrtle, you can almost always expect your Hotel to be a little dated. The difference is usually with the service and cleanliness of the Place you stay at. Well, Seaside has outstanding employees, it's very clean and the rooms are very spacious. This will be my future go to place to stay in the Grand Strand area.
Loved everything about our week stay!!! Our place was awesome, the staff was great, the view was AMAZING!!! Close beach access was nice and didn't have to drive too far to go to the store. Very kid friendly, my kids even had a great time. Definitely'd love to revisit in the future.
We stayed here for 3 nights on a Wyndham preview package and were disappointed by the very high resort fees, $200 for 3 nights, and the lack of maintenance. Our room had stains on the carpet, several broken lights, missing remote controls, broken sliding glass door, shower curtain that was about to fall off the wall and broken luggage rack. The pool area was a little run down as well, deteriorating concrete and small. The activities director left several hours early. We will not stay here again and shared our experience with the Wyndham.
I always stay here on family trips. Very clean, quiet, rooms are spacious; which is great for a busy family. Staff are very courteous, parking is extremely tight in the garage;it's best to park across the street if you don't want your car hit.
This condo was amazing as took our family (6) from Toronto. Right on beach with indoor/outdoor pool. Very comfortable and lots of room for privacy. Recommend Unit 1006- great view of Ocean. Booked via Carolina Resorts Realty and Rene was great to work with- no issues and good customer service. Easy to drive to restaurants and activities. We received 2 parking spots & they were large enough for our SUV. The condo was spotless when we arrived. Highly recommend- we went end of April and weather was in low 80s and the beach was empty which was great for us- I would go again and book via Carolina Resorts Realty.
My family spent four days in one of the condos. The place has such potential. The lady at checkin and the guy during checkout were very nice. The room was spacious enough for our large party (8). The room is also self-sufficient. The resort is a stone's throw away from Beach which is really nice. The resort's elevators smell good and housekeeping does a nice job. A few things need improvement: 1. The shower was hard to figure out in room 702. We had to play with the knob in order to find out how to turn it off and how the get a comfortable temperature. 2. Some parts of the condo are updated while other thing s like furniture are not. 3. The parking garage is really tight. 4. Most importantly, is the pool are needs proper cleaning maintenance. The waters are very cloudy but even more so, the indoor hot tub has a high level of mold/mildew surrounding it. I do not want to attach a picture because I did notify a staff member and he told me he'd tell one of the engineers, so I feel he'll honor his word. Also, my overall experience was a good one. So I do not want to damage the reputation of Seaside. That being said, I wouldn't mind a return stay. (I know the parking garage is not an easy fix.)
The resort was small and in need of update, and as others noted the parking garage was very, very tight. Parking is also available across street but it is limited. The two bedroom ocean view unit really needed updating. And I was told this was an upgraded unit! The furniture was worn and the carpet was stained and definitely needed replacing. The room was clean though and the front desk ladies were nice. For the price, you can find much better accommodations than this resort.
Let me start by saying that for as much money as our room was i expected it to at least be clean. We got into the hotel and had cookie crumbs and chunks all over the living room in plain sight. The front desk sent a cleaning lady right up...very nice but all she did was bring a glove and pick up a few big chunks. Thru our 4 night stay we found several bottles under beds and just trash and mess that hadnt been cleaned. The place mats on the table were stuck with food onto the table. Just nasty. The showers were so low that with me at 5'6 i had to lean back to be under the water. The beds were some of the worst ive been on and every time you moved they popped loudly. I had high hopes for this place and wasnt impressed. Parking deck is extremely tiny but we didnt have any issues finding a spot. The staff was very nice and the pools werent crowded. I wouldnt stay there again mainly because of the cleaning or lack of. I ended up scrubbing the place down in fear of what they hadnt done. Also they said it was remodeled in 2017 but i dont see how...i really think it would of been a better experience if the room had at least been clean.
