I have stayed at Seaside with golf groups in the winter and decided to stay there with family in June. We had 3 couples in a 3 bedroom corner room. Worked out great. Plenty of room in the family room area. Seaside is right on the beach. Loved waking up to the sound of crashing waves. Beach was not crowded. Sherry at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was decent. The waffle makers worked well. The lazy river was not flowing so disappointing. Pools and hot tubs were good.
We stayed in a two bedroom suite with two bathrooms. This was perfect for a 4 adult family, with 4 separate beds. Also had a great jacuzzi bath tub and wonderful ocean front view from the 6th floor. Very clean. Would definitely stay here again.
We stayed in condo 704. Don't stay here. This condo has the worst beds of any place we have ever stayed. Every morning we got up feeling like we had been beaten. The only plus is that the pillows were great. The living room carpet had something like a big chocolate mess on it and was very dirty. The furniture in the living room was awful. I actually purchased a sheet at a local store to cover the sofa. I didn't want to sit on it. The maid did do a good job keeping the bathrooms clean and plenty of towels. That just about all I can say good about it. Also, we had someone trying to get into our room multiple times and it really didnt seem to concern the hotel staff. The parking area is so tight that you have to back up twice to get down to the next level.
So first off I come to myrtle beach and wilmington at least 12 times a year monthly I have stayed at so many hotels for work travel leisure travel so my review is unbiase and just what it is. Upon arrival the room looked clean and and was nice modern great tvs high end stuff in Master bed Room and living area and 2nd bedroom. Kitchenette was just what I expects small bit functional for any cooking I would do @ beach. My main issues with this hotel is the spa tub in room had cracked caulk some molded areas hair in jets and tub. And my neice who just graduated nursing school why we were there had 2 Beatles or bugs in her room. (not German roches or palmetro bugs bit beetle type bugs. 1 elevator was down waiting on a part (it happens ) but annoying none the less. I have a small car toyota Camry and the parking garage was a nightmare to navigate very tight quarters 1 car up or down at a time so that sucked. The initial front desk lady had the personality of cardboard while the 2nd lady was wonderful all other staff were professional and polite It was Harley week so noise was what it was loud but I expected as much. The master had 2 queen beds still not sure why. And the beds were small queens not your standard at home the baloconys were great and all amenitys outside of room were good all in all not a bad place to stay bit I still prefer avista over any ive been to this far
We stayed in an ocean front, corner suite. It was perfect for two families, but could have accommodated more. We had 4 adults and 2 children. Fantastic balcony for the sunrise. We were able to prepare meals in the suite, plus we took advantage of the continental breakfast, which made it so convenient.
Would definitely stay here again. Location is perfect, the staff is friendly but not overwhelming. We had a one bedroom condo for three of us and it was perfect - 2 queen beds and a murphy bed. Beautiful ocean view from the eleventh floor and the convenience of a full kitchen and washer/dryer. Enjoyed a true vacation :)
We enjoyed our stay at SeaSide. The condos are clean and well appointed. We had a beach view with a balcony. The location is perfect. Steps away from the beach, restaurants and attractions in the North Myrtle Beach area. The continental breakfast on the 6th floor is nice and very convenient. We enjoyed the lazy river and indoor pools and hot tubs. We will be back!
We stayed in condo 1401, excellent views of the Atlantic Ocean. The indoor facilities, the exercise room, the indoor pool, lazy river, and the hot tub are great. As well the Seaside provides an outdoor pool as well as an outdoor hot tub. So no matter the weather you may enjoy these activities. Highly recommend the Seaside to anyone travelling to North Myrtle Beach. It has much less noise and traffic, and its a real pleasure/relaxing to stay at the Seaside. Lots of good restaurants all within a 5-10 minute drive from the Seaside.
The 3br condo (1003 was very clean and neat with a spectacular view of the ocean, staff was friendly and helpful even calling the room daily to see if there was anything we needed! Indoor pool and lazy river were heated but the indoor hot tub could have been warmer. Overall a great place to stay if you are vacationing with large family. The road in front of the hotel was dug up as the city was putting sewer and power lines underground so it may it difficult getting in/out of the parking garage. The only con to this hotel is the parking garage...very tight parking spots and needed to be designed better. Will definitely be staying again!
North Myrtle has far less noise and traffic--a great location for a quiet vacation. SeaSide is about ten years old which makes it a "young" hotel by beach standards. Older hotels have simply been refurbished. You will appreciate the modern touches--dish washer, jacuzzi, wonderful views (just make sure you take a room higher than the sixth floor. One tip: unless you take one of the more expensive units you will find that the bedrooms are missing windows.
