I stayed in this hotel for 2 days. I like everything about it. At first, I wasn’t convinced because when I got there I felt like it’s location is not ideal. However, I was mistaken. It’s really close to Mykonos Town where everything is: the windmills, the old church, the port, the shops. It’s perfect. Also, the room was really nice. I liked the modern and minimalistic decor. I like my view from the veranda. Too bad I didn’t get to swim in the pool. I did however took the advantage of their discount in the spa. I was probably the last client they had but I still was attended to. Breakfast was good. There were a lot of choices. I also got to taste some of the local food that they served. Overall, I would recommend anyone going to Mykonos to stay here.
This is a very chic property. Antiques mixed with modern decor and a very attentive staff. Great breakfast, our favorite in all of Greece. Walk just a few steps down to the central area of Mykonos Town.
The hotel is beautiful and so well kept. The rooms were modern and clean, the pool was really nice, the breakfasts were one of the best. The staff were really nice, they have a shuttle from the airport and will take you the ferries. Great location, you're at the top of Mykonos Town, so easy access to everything, but not in the thick of it all. There's music at night so if you're not the type to stay up and enjoy the evening you might want to ask for a room a bit further away from the main part of the hotel. Highly recommend this hotel, it made Mykonos all the more special
Hotel is in mykonos town, close to all the shopping, good restaurants and bars. The rooms are great. The breakfast is one of the best ever had in a hotel. Great cocktails at the bar overlooking the pool.the staff go out of their way to help you. All in all a great vacation choice!
We have recently returned from a lovely week at the Semeli Hotel in Mykonos Town. The hotel is ideally located right in the heart of the town. We booked a Superior Sea View Mini Spa room. It was perfect. The rooms are nicely furnished and well maintained and our room had a wonderful view right across the town and the harbour where you could catch the lovely sunsets and watch the big cruise ships coming in and out of port. We stayed half board and the food was brilliant! The chef is clearly very talented and Shirley our waitress was fantastic, looking after us each evening! We very much hope to return next year (maybe a little earlier) however it was the most relaxing week's holiday I think I've ever had and I think this was because it was low season with things winding down after a hectic summer.
Thank you to all at Semele hotel for our wonderful stay. From the moment we were picked up from the airport by the wonderful Mario it has been a fantastic trip. The hotel staff are so accommodating and are happy with any and every request we had. Our daughter (6 yrs) was greater every time with smiles and hugs. The breakfast staff "Poppy and Georgia" are the best and make us feel very special. We had our own jacuzzi in the garden and it was perfect as the main pool was very cold. The housekeeping staff and efficient and very fast... An excellent hotel situated in a great spot only 100 metres from the old port with great views of the bay, sea and islands. Thank you so much Semeli Hotel for a fabulous stay......
Staff at the Semeli Hotel are amazing. We had the best 3 days and this is my second visit to this hotel and everytime I think - wow, other hotel should come to Semeli to have their staff trained. Very clean and attentive. The lovely ladies at the breakfast bar will make you almost any breakfast you wish - and the buffet is awesome. There are a million little places you can get lost in at this hotel and relax in front of a couple of different pools. The balcony is also a great place to have breakfast and watch the city wake up after 9am. Thank you everyone, especially Maria
We stayed here for a week in October. Our initial thoughts were that the lovely people working on reception were extremely helpful. The pool was lovely, if not a little cold for us, but it is out of season. The garden view room we stayed in had everything we needed and was clean and comfy. The dinners were extremely tasty and we were looked after by the waitresses, especially Eleni who was helpful and friendly throughout our stay. With only a short walking distance to the town, it would be silly not to stay here!
Semeli was just perfect. we couldn't have asked for a better experience. From the moment they picked us up till the moment they dropped us off every person we encountered there was so lovely and accommodating. They helped us rent a car on short notice in just a couple hours, they helped us book a tour to Delos, they gave us vouchers for the spa which were a really nice touch. It was both our birthdays so they upgraded us from a garden view room to one with a balcony and sea view which made it all the more special! The food was amazing. We ate the breakfast every day and their was a huge variety of options each time. Hot foods, cakes and pastries, cheeses and bread so fresh it's worth waking up early for. And breakfast ran till noon so we just went down any time and ate our fill. We had dinner in the restaurant there as well one night and it was very quiet so the service was really good and the food was to die for! Every course was more delicious than the last. I had the lamb and it was perfect. They also had this wild mushroom paste to go with the bread basket and its one of the best things i have ever eaten in my life! I loooovvveeeddd it! It was perfectly located for Mykonos town and we could be in the center of the town in under 5 minutes. They had free valet parking as well so when we rented the car it was really easy and we could just leave the key at reception and come back when we needed. Honestly I can't say enough how great everyone at Semeli was and it was lovely and clean. A really nice, small boutique hotel where everyone remembers you and gives you a great smile. I'd recommend it to anyone!
