I traveled to Greece with a friend for our birthdays and I can't say enough good things about this hotel. The location is perfect for access to Mykonos town with all the amazing restaurants and tours. The staff couldn't have been friendlier. We inquired about a rental car and everything was organized for us - staff even provided valet. Spa services were great, food was excellent (breakfast was out of this world! Don't dare skip breakfast here!). We really felt like everyone went out of their way to make our birthday trip special. Absolutely would return to Semeli again.
This was our first visit to Mykonos and it did not disappoint, we stayed at the Semeli for 10 nights in June and we were given a lovely room overlooking the smaller heated pool which was very nice with a real mykonian feel. The location Amazing location 5 mins walk from the town and white washed streets with so many amazing little restaurants and champagne bars. The location really is extremely convenient and makes going out for an evening meal so easy and relaxing. The staff: From the moment we arrived at the Semeli the staff could not be faulted! The receptionist welcomed us and gave us a lovely room. What we really did enjoy was that the bar staff knew our drinks orders after just one visit to the bar in the evening before we would leave for a restaurant! You can also buzz a button on your sun lounger and the waiters will come directly over in the day and add the bill to your room, which we thought was a really good touch, The food Breakfast was really nice you can also eat breakfast overlooking the pool on the veranda which we thought was lovely. The Thioni restaurant looked amazing with a lovely setting however we did t eat in there in the evening. Pool food - what we did eat was absolutely gorgeous, but I do think the selection of food could be wider, maybe a few more salads and sandwiches and ‘snack’ type food. We will 100% be coming back to the Semeli hotel we absolutely loved it!!!!! It is a gorgeous hotel and doesn’t disappoint!
A very nice hotel with a white tone background. The room is in medium size, modern & sleek. The shower been separated with the toilet and there is no separator between wash basin & room. Basic toiletries, bathrobe & slippers provided. There is kettle with tea, coffee & creamer as well as complimentary mineral water. No iron. A very comfy bed with Guy Laroche materials. There are swimming pools with jacuzzi & hot bath. A good varieties for breakfast with selection of breads, pastries, eggs, juice, coffee, desserts, vegetables & few hot meals. From the hotel to old town around 500m - 600m. Easy access to the shops & restaurants by walking. Overall, a luxury that you can afford & worth of staying.
Semeli Hotel provide us with the soft luxurious feel. I was upgraded to the hot tub jacuzzi but too bad it is winter and I could not try in it. However, we complimented our room where it has the best Mykonos town view. We sat at the veranda enjoying sunrise and sunset. The location to the many shops, restaurants, windmills are all within reach by walking. I was upgraded to the hot tub jacuzzi but too bad it is winter and I could not try in it. We like the breakfast really, the menu spread was too good and breaksat is till 12pm (first ever I encountered!). We were also very inspired by the mediterranean interior of the hotel and we love it very much.
One of the most relaxing holidays...beautiful hotel, great food and very friendly staff..would go back again and again. Mykonos is a lovely island..the Greek people are wonderful. Shopping is great..plenty to see and do..or just relax around Semeli beautiful pool.
I stayed in this hotel for 2 days. I like everything about it. At first, I wasn’t convinced because when I got there I felt like it’s location is not ideal. However, I was mistaken. It’s really close to Mykonos Town where everything is: the windmills, the old church, the port, the shops. It’s perfect. Also, the room was really nice. I liked the modern and minimalistic decor. I like my view from the veranda. Too bad I didn’t get to swim in the pool. I did however took the advantage of their discount in the spa. I was probably the last client they had but I still was attended to. Breakfast was good. There were a lot of choices. I also got to taste some of the local food that they served. Overall, I would recommend anyone going to Mykonos to stay here.
This is a very chic property. Antiques mixed with modern decor and a very attentive staff. Great breakfast, our favorite in all of Greece. Walk just a few steps down to the central area of Mykonos Town.
The hotel is beautiful and so well kept. The rooms were modern and clean, the pool was really nice, the breakfasts were one of the best. The staff were really nice, they have a shuttle from the airport and will take you the ferries. Great location, you're at the top of Mykonos Town, so easy access to everything, but not in the thick of it all. There's music at night so if you're not the type to stay up and enjoy the evening you might want to ask for a room a bit further away from the main part of the hotel. Highly recommend this hotel, it made Mykonos all the more special
Hotel is in mykonos town, close to all the shopping, good restaurants and bars. The rooms are great. The breakfast is one of the best ever had in a hotel. Great cocktails at the bar overlooking the pool.the staff go out of their way to help you. All in all a great vacation choice!
We have recently returned from a lovely week at the Semeli Hotel in Mykonos Town. The hotel is ideally located right in the heart of the town. We booked a Superior Sea View Mini Spa room. It was perfect. The rooms are nicely furnished and well maintained and our room had a wonderful view right across the town and the harbour where you could catch the lovely sunsets and watch the big cruise ships coming in and out of port. We stayed half board and the food was brilliant! The chef is clearly very talented and Shirley our waitress was fantastic, looking after us each evening! We very much hope to return next year (maybe a little earlier) however it was the most relaxing week's holiday I think I've ever had and I think this was because it was low season with things winding down after a hectic summer.
