We stayed at the Ostraco Suites for 3 days and 2 nights in June 2017 and it was fantastic. The staff was incredibly friendly and offered great advice on how to spend our time in Mykonos. They recommended renting an ATV for the day (which was extremely fun) and were very helpful in setting up the rental for us. They also were great when it came to local dining recommendations and assisting with making recommendations. The rooms were great and clean and the views from the hotel were great. We would come back to the Ostraco Suites in a heartbeat.
We spent 7 days at this wonderful hotel that is a shot walk away from the centre of town. The staff could not have been more welcoming and friendly. I am name checking Spyros, Adrian, Venya, Clarissa, Celia, Vangelis and last but by no means least Mitsis. The breakfast was fantastcic and the atmosphere at the pool was relaxed and chilled. just what we needed. We could not have asked for a better room with a view of the sea and ample space inside with a fantastic shower. We cant wait to head back next year again
After much research and reading reviews. We decided to stay at Ostracos. The best decision ever! Not only is this the best location, I believe. We had picxturestique sunsets every evening. And let me not forget the staff. Where do I begin. Amazing everyone. Thank you,Clarrisa Spyros,Vania,Manik,Vance,Celia. You made our family vacation all that better. Will definitely be back.
Spyros, Adrian, Venya, Clarissa, Celia, Vangelis (Vance), Odysseus (and those whose names I did not get) teamed up to make this a VERY pleasant and relaxing stay. Stunning simple bar at the pool, staggering buffet with custom omelets, remarkable pool perfect temperature and near everything. Rooms were simple clean, tasteful and bright. Loved the people, loved the place. Go again ! Up the hill from the town in a quiet location.
We spent seven days at this beautiful hotel 16 to 23 May. We were collected from the airport by a charming smiling young man and within ten minutes at our hotel. Although near the airport no noise or planes going over our hotel. The staff were friendly, professional and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is ten minutes walk into town down a steep hill, early in the season was not too busy. A good addition to the hotel would be a mini bus to run a few times a day as the climb back up might be a bit much for some people but taxis were always available. Local buses were also plentiful. The views were beautiful, the gardens beautifully kept, breakfast was fabulous, with fresh fruit, yogurt, pastries, cakes, deserts, Greek cheese pie etc etc such a lot of choice and all homemade. Our room was lovely and kept spotlessly clean.
We spent a week at the suites just before the start of the summer season and we loved them. We were made to feel welcome right from the start and the friendliness and smiles continued throughout our stay. Accommodation (well, our suite 401 anyway) proved to be perfectly suited to the Mykonian weather, vibe and style being whiter than white, cool and relatively minimalist. Meals are taken around the pool and never failed to be well prepared and delicious. We would certainly recommend Ostraco Suites to anyone considering a relaxing week in Mykonos. The only downside we might identify - and we wouldn't be the first to do so - is the steep walk down the hill into town. It's undoubtedly dangerous: If the cars or quad-bikes don't get you, the traffic fumes probably will. The hotel suffers in this respect because of its site - just on the outskirts of town. Any further out and a taxi would be an obvious choice, but it is just too close to justify picking up the phone to order a cab. Might it be possible to arrange for an hourly shuttle service down (and up) the hill? I am sure that this is a service that guests would consider funding. The hill-walk is the only unfavourable impression we took back to England with us. In all other respects Ostraco Suites are simply excellent and we will certainly return there if we are fortunate enough to return to Mykonos.
An easy walk to 'downtown Mykonos,' great staff and the property has everything you need! Breakfasts were delicious and the pool area was really relaxing. Got a great rate on jetsetter.com - each room is very private and has all of the necessities. Would definitely return.
The staff is so kind and helpful in every way. They connect to us personally and made us feel like family. We wished all hotel experiences could be done this well. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone going to Mykonos!
