The staff is superb here at the hotel...we were promptly greeted by the driver at the airport which is a short drive to the hotel. Check-in was a breeze and we were on the beach within the hour. The property is classic, spacious and offers amazing views of Psarou beach. The rooms are a bit "tired" and are in need of renovation but overall very clean. The bathrooms are dark a out-dated, I happen to like well-light spacious bathroom and they fall short here hence the 4 star review....hard to compete with the newer more modern hotels on the island. We have stayed here twice and my wife would agree with me on the aforementioned. What drew us back to this place was the amazing beach and one of the best on the island in my opinion, we visited many other beaches/beach clubs; the hotel has a private section on the beach with plenty of chairs/umbrellas and offers a very relaxing setting with a full service wait staff. If you are looking to party and have a good time, Nammos is a 2 minute walk on the beach...definitely make a reservation for around 3pm and I assure you that you will not be disappointed. The food, music and vibe is great...a must-do if you are looking for a day party; this place is one of our favorites.

We stayed at this hotel in September 2017. I driver met us at the port. We was very pleasant and gave us great advice and service throughout teh stay. You are greeted personally and escorted to your room. We asked for a room with a heated pool. We were not given the right room and moved after the first evening. We liked our second room much better and with a better view. When you arrive, there is fresh fruit and goodies and a bottle of wine. The staff goes out of there way to make sure you have everything you need. The food in the restaurant was fabulous, the selections at breakfast were unbelievable and the room service was so fast! Shout out to some of their staff for a wonderful stay: Eirini, Eleini, (we want you to marry our son!), Roxanna, Maria the Manager, Stelios our driver, Violetta, Yiannes the bartender and more!

I stayed at this hotel last October with my sister to celebrate her birthday on the back of a recommendation of a very good friend who had stayed earlier in the year. I am so glad that I chose this hotel. From my initial email contact with the hotel staff right through to our taxi transfer to the airport at the end of the holiday, the service we had was second to none. 1) We were surprised with a bottle of champagne after one of our trips into Mykonos town as well as a beautiful birthday cake on the day of my sister's birthday which made our stay so incredibly memorable. We had a lovely room with a balcony and sea view which was just divine. Incredible views of the Aegean Sea. 2) The breakfast was a selection of buffet food but a very good variety. I also recommend dining at the hotel's own restaurant in the evening. The food was incredible. 3) The hotel is a bit of a distance from the main town but this is why I chose Mykonos Bluu - for a week of relaxation which was exactly what we got. It is worth mentioning that I had read on previous reviews that there were free shuttle buses to the town. However, this was not the case when we had arrived. The lady at the hotel desk did explain that this was because we had come out of season and which we completely understood. There is a bus right opposite the hotel which isn't too pricey at all. 4) My sister used the spa facilities and had a facial and back message which she thoroughly enjoyed. The gym facilities are fairly decent too. I can't fault the hotel at all. It is luxurious, decadent and just beautiful! The only downside is how cold the pool was! Of course, it was October, but the water was ice cold. Definitely not able to go for a swim. However, this was made better by a lovely brief walk to the private beach. Thank you so much Mykonos Bluu for the unforgettable memories. I will most definitely be returning soon with my husband!

This is by far my most favorite resort I have ever stayed in. Incredible service and exquisite property. Everything was simply beautiful. Breakfast was amazing as well. We had a room with a private pool and it was fantastic. We happen to be there on the 1st of May which was the beginning of summer and the resort gave all the female guest these gorgeous fresh flower bracelets. Best location right on Psarou beach and super close to all the great shops and restaurants. The staff and especially the General Manager of the resort (Stelios) went completely out of their way to decorate the room and provide fresh fruits and sweets for our 3 year old daughter. It was a magical stay. I can’t wait to go back and would highly recommend.

This hotel is slighlty further out from the main 'tourist hubs' but that was its appeal for us. Great views from Sea View rooms, the beach and grounds were nice, not as busy as other beaches nearby, and it felt more 'exclusive'. It is a 8-10 minute walk from another very popular beach with its restaurants. There is a 'famous' beach bar-club 'next door' to the hotel which looks nice but prices were extortionate. The beach bar turns into a club, with music which can be heard from the hotel rooms. Depending on what they played it was either ok during the day or very annoying when trying to have a siesta. I think the hotel should buy the club and then retain control over how loud the music gets. Mykonos town with its lovely shops and restaurants is easily reached from the hotel. There are bus stops near the hotel which is great for those that like to drink during the day. Taxis are very expensive on the island, a rip off really. The hotel is very nice and service is excellent. The rooms & bathrooms are a bit on the small side and dated for the price you pay, in comparision to other great locations across the world. Greece also has a 'problem' with waste disposal so you have to dispose of waste toilet tissues in bins- not NICE! Food, drinks and items sold at the hotel are very expensive. Breakfast was a good selection. A cup of coffee was around 7 Euros! I think hotel management should provide free complimentary tea and coffee, basic luxury, especially given what their clients pay to stay. It is a real shame when hotels overcharge their customers for such basic necessities. This hotel has the potential to blow you away but it needs to 'fine tune' things so that customers end up thinking 'WOW' without being 'fleeced' whilst they stay. Overall almost perfect but not quite at the moment.

I stayed at Mykonos Blu with my 15-year-old daughter in October. We enjoyed the hotel so much that we actually cancelled our booking at another five star hotel after one night and returned to Mykonos Blu for the rest of our holiday. We loved the location, the service, the food, the staff. And even though some reviewers criticize the rooms (and it's true, they might not be quite 5* standard), we loved their simplicity. If we ever return to Mykonos we would happily stay there again (actually, Mykonos Blu would be one reason to go back).

PRIME Location! The beach is stunning, the service is an absolute dream! Grand views of the amazing sea! The restaurant has amazing food and the buffer in the morning is as rich as it can gets. Will be back!

Having spent a few days at Myconian Avaton and being disappointed in general , it was so lovely arriving to a lovely welcome and an ambience which was “more greek” . The hotel is stylish but still retains the beautiful white and blue colours everywhere . We were worried about what the room would be like , having read some of the reviews . We were given a newly refurbished-room which was smallish but totally lovely . Perhaps if you are booking a waterfront bungalow asked then for one of the new rooms . The beach is amazing ! Having a private beach just down the stairs was lovely . The staff there could not do enough to make it perfect ! The breakfast was just stunning ! The transportation to the town was quick and easy ! Just loved this place !

13/oct/2017. Best hotel in all manner! Thanks largery for giving us all the pleasant surprises. We really appreciated the room upgrades to the Island bungalow deluxe. Million thanks from the bottom of heart, for the fantastic birthday cake you made for surprising my partner. Mykonos blu grecotel is the high luxury hotel resorts with a seaview and private beach at Mykonos. A unique setting bathroom with high quality of toileteries, Rich Champange Buffet Breakfast overlooking the infinity swimming pool and wide open psarou beach, are such as a nice exclusive touch. This resort really know how to welcome its guests, with five different kind of delicious fresh fruit juices on arrival, surely this hotel on the top of “Best hotel welcome drink” around the world. No direct bus to hotel From new ferry port mykonos, so take local bus (route New port - Fabrika - Airport) and stop at Fabrika (2euro/20min), take another bus to Psarou, ask the driver to stop at bus stop right infront of the hotel (1.80euro/10min).

A stunning place, and you'll know it from the moment you pull up outside. Every angle of this hotel is beautiful. Our room was 2 floors with a beautiful view. (Didn't use bottom floor much as no view) If I had to criticize them on anything, it'd be the coffee they serve in the morning. It's really, truly, sub standard. If you're in any particular about your coffee, there's a tiny place across the street that serves much better coffee. It's honestly quite curious how they get their coffee so wrong :) But seriously, the pool is great, the beach is literally 100 feet away, the gymnasium is great, and overall it's just a great hotel. You won't regret it.
